Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaRoom intercom wasn't working properly. Not able to communicate to front desk for help. Although staff were there around, it wasn't much a problem.
All the facilities were exceptionally good. Dinner Buffet spread was huge. Ambience was perfect.

United Arab EmiratesAll the staff- from reception to security and buggy drivers to lifeguards- can do with a little training on welcoming guests- more smiles, polite questions, good mornings etc. I had also complained about unresponsive room service on the first night and it was immediately addressed. Both the bars were very dull and lackluster, and bartenders not very knowledgeable. For such a lovely beachside property, this is quite surprising. The poolside fountains could be turned on considering they all seem connected. There are a lot of crows but likely can’t be helped due to the nearby fishing village. They were bursting crackers to scare them away though. It won’t stop me from returning.
Lovely meandering pool, lush greenery, within 5 mins of the temples. Amazing food at both restaurants. Very comfortable rooms ( stayed in the pool facing chalets). Spa and staff - Athithi and Melody were very welcoming and professional. The manager Santosh went out of his way to rectify initial issues I had and make my stay memorable. Priyanka at the reception was also keen to take feedback as I checked out.

MalaysiaMy experience with the front desk staff during check-in and check-out while polite, was in my opinion not up to the expected standard. For example, I had booked a half-board package (including dinner) but only stayed one night. Since we were too full to have dinner on the first night, we called the service centre and spoke to another staff member who confirmed it would be fine to reschedule dinner to lunch the next day before our 1 PM check-out. During check-out, however, the same staff member who checked us in told us that we could not do this because the offer was “over” as we had not used it for dinner. We challenged this, and only then did the staff member call the restaurant to confirm, at which point it was verified that we could indeed have our lunch before leaving. This kind of avoidable back-and-forth created unnecessary tension and does not reflect the spirit of hospitality. In most hotels around the world, staff strive to find ways to avoid saying “no” to guests. Unfortunately, in this instance the opposite happened, and it left a lasting negative impression. Additionally, while the extra bed charge was reasonable, the way front desk and reception staff repeatedly stressed that the dinner cost was not included made me feel uncomfortable, as it gave the impression that there was doubt about our willingness to pay. This unnecessary emphasis detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.
The beach while not ideal for swimming, perhaps due to the season, was nevertheless beautiful and calming, offering a serene backdrop for our stay. I also noticed many staff members working tirelessly in the gardens cleaning and maintaining the grounds to keep them immaculate. The gardens were beautifully landscaped and dotted with many picturesque Instagram-worthy spots. One of my favourites was the giant chess board. I particularly loved the beachside chalet we stayed in. The soothing sound of the waves and the uninterrupted view of the ocean from our room were definite highlights that made the experience truly special. We spent several hours lazing in the bar. The cocktails prepared by our amazing bartender were delightful. Breakfast was excellent with a generous and delicious spread that catered to a variety of tastes. The staff in the restaurant with a special mention to Abdul as well as the bell boys and buggy drivers were all polite, knowledgeable and well-trained. Their service and professionalism certainly warmed our hearts!

SingaporeRestaurant staff seemed to be under some sales pressure, repeatedly asking us to order drinks was a little annoying (maybe it was my mood that saw it as such. They were generally very polite and helpful)
Lovely rooms, good location, generally good service - staff at the breakfast counter were friendly despite the full house.

United StatesThe pool side chalet was an excellent choice we made for our stay. The pool was at our doorstep and it made all of us feel comfortable when our young children were at the pool. The pool side chalet rooms were spacious than what we had expected and the upholstery and the furnishings were tastefully curated. Most importantly, the staff working during the breakfast buffet went above and beyond to give us the best service available. We were a party of 24 with our family ranging from 7 years to 78 years old, and we were taken care of exceptionally well. Mr.Abraham and his team's hospitality made Radisson Blu Temple Bay's stay truly memorable.

IndiaService – 2/10: Only giving 2 points because the housekeeping staff were lovely. Everyone else was unhelpful throughout. We came as three families in separate rooms, and all had issues: My mom was left waiting in the sun during check-in with no assistance. My cousin’s room had a broken phone and a dirty tub that they had to clean themselves. At breakfast, we were told a table for 8 wasn't possible until we insisted—only to find one was free. Room service calls often went unanswered, or we were given empty promises. We only got basic help after contacting a director we luckily met at check-in. Getting a simple request fulfilled (like an extra bed) required multiple follow-ups. When we raised concerns, we were told to "ask for staff names" next time. Two families got room upgrades and "free mocktail cards"; the third didn't, and were told they weren't eligible—right after sharing bad experiences during checkout. This isn’t about the mocktail. It’s about how little Radisson is willing to do to recover a bad guest experience. Two families had stayed here before and loved it. Sadly, the service now is worse than a budget stay. Taj still sets the bar high—Radisson has clearly dropped it.
Food & Property – 10/10: The buffet was excellent, and the property is beautiful.

United StatesWe stayed at Radisson Blu Temple Bay for 4 nights, staying in two sea villa cottages. First of all, the location is nice and quite central. The resort is on the beach, and is spread out over a large area. The resort grounds are well maintained and the pools are quite nice. Second, the villas themselves -- they seem a little bit outdated but overall are clean and spacious. The fixings etc could be more modern but these are minor points. Third, the service was excellent. Would like to highlight the F&B manager - Mr. Abdul who went above and beyond to help with whatever request we may have, given we had two small kids. All dietary restrictions were accommodated, and they were kind enough to pack us many goodies on the day we left on a roadtrip! The room-service times are long given the spread of the resort (40-45mins) but Mr. Abdul made sure everything was seamless as it could be. The food quality in general was quite good, but for vegetarians, it could be a bit better/more diverse. As a matter of comparison, we have stayed at Taj Fisherman cove a few years ago. The Taj was better in terms of accommodation (more modern and luxurious) and the sea villas were right on the beach (there was a security fence here), but the service at the Radisson was better, largely due to Mr. Abdul. Overall, A+.

IndiaThe breakfast spread was good, but lunch and dinner were strictly OK. The taste of most of the dishes could be improved. We tried a couple of cocktails, which were also not good.
The resort is quite beautiful with an expansive pool. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. It is bang on the beach, which is a plus.
