Very nice rooms, hot water and perfect temperature in the room. We had 1 night booked but added 2 more. Staff was very available, friendly and the manager helped us sort all types of questions or needs.

There is nothing we didn't like

. The beautiful garden with flowers and vegetables, nurtured anew by Angchuk every year in April, shaded by the mountains with snow tops, is unforgettable, relaxing experience. Angchuk and his two sons, Sonam and Jigmet will do everything to keep you happy. The room is big, cosy, clean and looking at the garden. We felt it is our home.

Raku is a beautiful property. The room and bathroom were both spacious and well appointed. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided. Toiletries are also provided. The shower is fantastic! The surrounds are really lovely, providing lovely outdoor seating areas.

Fabulous guest house. Family are so friendly and helpful whilst guest house is comfortable. We stayed before and after a trek. Twin with balcony and also ground floor doubles. Had wonderful view of the mountains and guest house garden. It’s just a 10 minute walk to the centre. Advantage of being slightly out of town is the quiet location.

The hotel is nice and close to all amenities, the owner and staff helped us plan our treks sorted out our trekking permits for us and generally couldn’t of been more helpful or friendly would highly recommend the hotel

It is a beautiful property and the owners are so welcoming and loving. The morning tea in their beautiful kitchen is a great experience. food made by the mother of the house is great. The family treats ypu like a part of their family. The rooms a fantastic and so is the location. Highly recommended
