The staff were amazing. Once again, they couldn't do enough to help us. Charlie, in particular, was always there, always willing to assist. He really pushed the boat out to make our stay in Khajuraho a memorable one. The chef was also brilliant. A very happy and smiley bloke, who specially cooked us a dish of harabara khabab (but seriously overcharged us for them, unfortunately.) The hotel itself is one of the nicest we have stayed at in India. Well situated, with lots of trees, so you wake up to the sounds of birds. They arranged a trip to a National Park for us, where we actually saw a Tiger 🐅! Charlie took us on a ride in the hotel's brand new Tuk-tuk to see all the temples and also took us on a guided tour through the Old Town, where he lives.

Poor internet. Only works in the lobby. The restaurant was not always staffed so sometimes had to wait for a while to get breakfast or other meals.

Personnel was tragedy. They promised to send a taxi to take us from the airport, but noone from the hotel showed up. On the way back to the airport they wanted 500 for the transfer when the official price was 350. Old man from the hotel was a real crook.

The toilet bowl had stains and wasn't cleaned before we checked in. The foot rug by the bed felt dirty. The bathroom has no ventilation or exhaust, and there were a few gaping holes, probably meant for some bathroom fittings. The cupboard was dusty, so we hesitated to place anything in it. They have a restaurant, but only at a few specific times. When we wanted food around 2pm or 11am, nothing was available.

We liked that the room and bathroom were spacious, and both floors were clean. The location was convenient too. We could walk to nearby restaurants and the temple sites.

The hotel had everything you need to stay comfortably in India. The rooms are quite big and even had some snack at our welcoming. The workers were very nice to us. They offered us dinner by the fire. Charlie took care of our schedule and booked tickets for the temples for us and arranged a private car. He was really helpful.

The helpfulness of the owner and his staff . The hotel is very laid back and simple but very clean. Large room with view over rural India.The staff would prepare whatever food we wanted and alcohol was available.Very small friendly town in country, Apart from the Temples visiting the Ranesh waterfalls is a must.

Generally hotels like this have a hot water kettle and some tea coffee in the room. We felt that was missing.

Very clean and good facilities. There is good room service available from there restaurant. They dropped us off at the station at 3am at night by car. Really liked the cleanliness.

Not directly of the hotel, but consider your trip to Khajuraho an adventure. Trains will run late (very late, especially on the winter because of the fog). flights will get canceled for no reason. So make sure to plan different options ahead of time.

Clean and nice rooms on Khajuraho if you don’t want to pay exorbitant prices. The food and attention received was extraordinary, always with humility and a smile.
