Apart from the Gym and Swimming Pool there isn't much to be engaged in at the Hotel. Also since the Hotel is slightly far-off from the main town and the market place, one might have the feeling of being stranded in isolation. The Wi-Fi Service is very slow.

The Property is close to the Jaisalmer Railway Station. The overall décor of the Hotel is soothing & pleasing which projects an impression of Staying in a Haveli. The Food at the Restaurant was very Tasty and thanks to the Team for their cooperation and support for complying with our requests for Early Breakfast & preparing some of the local delicacies for us.

The menu was limited and generally the restaurant was more akin to a lower star hotel.

The pool area is really nice.

The rooms were okay not upto the level of a Taj property. The bad part was the food which you do not expect from aTaj property as well. The b/f and dinner buffet spread were extremely meager and not upto the standards at all with the charges you pay. The taste of the food was not proper with some dishes and juices were stale.

The property is on the outskirts of Jaisalmer and quietly placed. It is well laid out property reflecting the Rajasthani culture of forts and palaces.

We were 4 families with kids and booked this hotel for 5 nights. On check in realised the rooms were run down completely. The Hotel is built in 1997 and needs a full renovation. The food quality was average at best. Something I never expected at least at Food even if I did pardon the age of the hotel. The towels need a change too. Facilities they had a gym and a great swimming pool which i could only admire in one degree temperature. I would recommend one of the many other options in the vicinity, which are more modern and better food (we had 2 lunches in the next door hotel) I have largely patronised Taj without a reason to complain but this one was a real disaster.

The Staff is good the GM is a great guy, but the niceties end there.
