A fantastic stay in the heart of Jaisalmer Fort. This cozy guesthouse is made special by its incredibly friendly owner, who gave us a personal tour and was always ready to help. The hostel is located in a perfect position, rooms look good and are clean. Staff is extremely kind: they helped us while I was sick. The restaurant offers delicious stuff. Very very suggested!

I had an amazing time at Sagar Guest House in Jaisalmer. The family who runs the guest house is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive – they truly made me feel at home from the very first moment. One of the absolute highlights was the authentic camel safari they organized for me. It was such a unique and unforgettable experience, far away from the touristy crowds. I could really feel their passion for sharing the beauty of the desert and Rajasthani culture. Their in-house restaurant is another gem – they cook incredibly delicious, traditional meals with so much love and care. Every dish I had was full of flavor and truly felt homemade. It’s the perfect way to experience real local cuisine without even having to leave the guest house. The location is perfect – right inside the fort, so you’re staying in the heart of Jaisalmer’s magical old city with stunning views and everything just a short walk away. Even after I returned from the safari, they generously let me use the facilities to shower and freshen up, which I really appreciated. It just shows how thoughtful and genuinely caring they are. If you’re looking for a place with heart, warmth, amazing food, and real hospitality in Jaisalmer, I can’t recommend Sagar Guest House enough!

Paresh is the best, he made our stay totally unforgettable with his kindness and availability. And so did all the people working at this hotel. It's good value for money, it's located inside the fort, providing the guest with a unique experience of Jaisalmer. The rooms are cosy and welcoming, I do recommend this place for your visit in Jaisalmer.

The location is amazing, in one of the fort’s towers. Rooms were cozy and clean. The hosts were super friendly and provided us anything we needed. They arranged us the desert safari and camel tour. We also ordered food and drinks and it was really good. Super recommended!

I stayed in the Basic Room, which was simple but had everything I needed. Definitely good value for the price! The staff was super friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome right away. They were always available with tips and assistance, which made the stay very pleasant. The location is simply fantastic – right in the middle of Jaisalmer Fort! You can fully experience the unique atmosphere of the fortress, and many sights are within walking distance. Overall, a really nice stay – I would definitely come back!

The stay was great! We really liked the staff and the food—they were very cooperative and supportive. We requested a late checkout, and they were happy to accommodate us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Enjoyed our stay here very much. We got a free upgrade from the room since the room was free. Very kind staff and a very nice restaurant at the top of the roof (with a great view).

Great property inside the fort with fantastic views of the city. After 6 weeks of travelling of India, this place had the BEST customer service. Their rooftop restaurant was the only place that actually bothered to check up on us and make sure our meal was okay. They provided free luggage storage when we went to the desert for 2 nights and allowed us a very late checkout, when our train wasn’t due until midnight the following day.

Good rooms and bed, good location, staff is very friendly and helpful, food in the restaurant is very good as well :-) we were very happy with our 3 days stay.

Great location in the fort. Simple and nice guest house. The staff were friendly and helpful, the communication was smooth. Affordable price with homy breakfast included on the rooftop.

One of the best guest houses we have stayed at throughout our trip to India! Staff are wonderful and will help with anything you need. We booked an overnight desert safari with them for a good price, which was really great. Rooms are very pretty and thoughtfully dressed. Guesthouse is right inside the Fort with lovely winding streets all around it. There are two wonderful terraces with comfy areas to relax or enjoy the view. The food is also very good. We would definitely return to Sagar if we returned to Jaisalmer in the future.

Shower was only Luke warm whilst we were there but this may be due to showering in the morning and wasn’t really an issue for us.
