Maybe the kindest and most attentive hosts we have had in India! What a hidden gem. I was unwell when I arrived and they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Amazing traditional house passed down through generations, great food. 15 mins walk to steps for sunset point and easy walk to the fort and clock tower. Very very much worth the money.

Honestly cannot recommend this gorgeous place enough! The family that run this Havali are so so lovely and made us feel so welcome - the food was DELICIOUS! The room was very spacious and had everything we needed but the rooftop was absolutely UNREAL with amazing views of the Fort! Would definitely stay again!

Beautifully made and well thought of. The family that owns the homestay is kind and extremely helpful. Mr. Lokesh helped us with directions, information about the local places and so much more. This was a last minute booking after I had abruptly left my original booking at another 'heritage' hotel which was too filthy to stay in and had 2 resident pigeons in my room. It was such an amazing relief to arrive at Saji Sanwri, with its spotlessly clean floors, smiling family and welcome drink. The family look after their guests really well and they helped me so much when I was ill - this means a lot when you are feeling too poorly to face the crowded streets to find a pharmacy. The haveli is in the blue city so you can wander around and look at the murals on nearby streets. From the roof terrace there is a magnificent view of the nearby fort.

Really Nothing, everything was just amazing.

Where do I start? I've been to so many homestays, and I usually don't write reviews unless I feel it. What a wonderful host, host would not be the right word. They took care of us just like their family members. The way they welcomed us gave us that trust that everything's going to be great. In my past experiences, most of the times the host will just on-board and forget about the guest. Lokesh sir, rashi mam, and their 11-year-old son (far matured for his age) wholeheartedly welcomed us as if we were their guests. They sat with us, made us comfortable, gave a complete tour of the property, and explained to us the best itinerary for the places and timings to roam around. Me and my sister fell in love with rashi mam's homemade food. It was just like mom's food, made with love. And the ghee here in jodhpur was something else, so they even got us half kg ghee to carry back home (on request). She even sat with us during dinner and spent an hour just talking to us. Every time we came back to stay after roaming, she used to sit and inquire about our experience. On the day of checking out, I've experienced moments where the owners are very strict on checkout timings, but here it was chill, even after checkout they let us stay rest in the waiting area and even use washrooms if necessary. All this at a very very affordable price. Again, no money would do justice to the way they took care of us, I'm not exaggerating, nor did they ask for me to write this. It's a 400 year old stay, where they've spent around 15 years renovating while hosting guests on a regular basis (hats off to their selflessness and patience). The bathrooms are very well maintained, and even the property is very tidy. The vibe takes you back to olden vintage days, cozy, low-key and classy. They have parking space if you rent 2 wheelers. They have many more facilities.

The hospitality and warmth here starts way before you even arrive at the property! The hosts, Lokesh ji and his wife, Raksha ji are some of the warmest, kindest, and sweetest people you’ll come across in all of Jodhpur. The Haveli is beautifully done and the rooms are spacious and clean. They have a beautiful rooftop with breathtaking views of the fort - the perfect place to soak in the fort and city views while savouring the delicious food Raksha ji will pamper you with. I travelled with my mother and my doggo and all three of us had an amazing stay! Will definitely recommend it!

The hosts, Lokesh & Raksha are both kind, polite and very helpful right from the moment they welcomed us with a Hindi blessing on our arrival. The location is perfect, with the blue lanes starting a mere minutes walk from their guest house. With Fort De Mehrangarh being only a 20 minute walk. The rooftop terrace was amazing, with a magnificent view of the Fort.

Nothing

The behaviour of the owner is superb and so friendly. Me and my wife stayed there with our 3-year-old daughter and we didn't feel like we were unsecured. The hospitality of Lokesh Ji (owner) and his wife is so very good and they also helped us to roam in the city as a guide. There food is so delicious and very hygienic like a home. Parking space is just 300m far from property which is common to stay that much inside in jodhpur. P.S - must stay at this location if you want to explore the real jodhpur
