The location is so good, very calm and private beach side a bit far from cliff. This place is worth it if you are planning a family trip away from busy life.

Air-conditioning was faulty, due to electrical fluctuation or something AC was going on and off. After midnight it's somewhat okay but till that it was horrible 😕

It would be good if the hotel cleared rubbish on the nearby cliff.

This was our second visit and we received a warm welcome. Rooms were a good size, very comfortable and right next to the pool. The atmosphere was peaceful with swaying palm trees and the sound of the ocean close by.

There were a few issues with our bathroom. A broken shower tray, no hot water and a leaking tap but as we were so happy with the place and staff we didn’t mention it. Whilst we loved the location, it can take at least 30 minutes to walk to the North Cliff where the majority of shops and restaurants are located. And the hotel will get a tuk tuk for you but it’s expensive!

We weren’t sure where to base our self in Varkala but wanted to be close to the beach and have access to a pool. The property has both. Varkala is situated along a cliff. The North Cliff is full of restaurants, cafes and shops and the beach is crowded; it’s a great place to visit but not our scene. We loved walking on an almost deserted beach, watching the fishermen haul in their catch and eating in small, quiet restaurants close to the water. The staff at the property, without exception, are wonderful, obliging and friendly. The breakfasts are delicious, huge and plentiful and we generally had the pool to ourselves. Our bungalow was spacious and comfortable. The property is fairly small so you feel as though the staff know and care about you.

Reaching the property in the night was little difficult as you need to take a narrow road on the beach with hardly no light or directions.We called the owner and he came to pick us.

How far it was from town and the fact the pool was closed. Few evening restaurants were close by but one on this property would be helpful.

The breakfast area was not up to the mark and could be cleaner. There were just too many crows trying to pick on food.

The location and room were brilliant. The resort is next to the sea. If you prefer peace and quiet and just the sound of the waves, this could be a good option. The room was spacious. The resort is located in an isolated corner of the cliff, where there are 2 other resorts. Better to ask the resort to arrange for an auto/car/bike to move around.

The only downside was that during breakfast by the beach, crows gathered around as soon as food was served. It was a bit distracting, but overall, the experience was still fantastic.

The location is absolutely stunning. The room was spacious, decorated with lovely paintings on the walls, and spotlessly clean. It came with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We were pleasantly surprised to have a room with a front beach view, which was beyond our expectations. Walking along the coast, you’ll find a variety of restaurants, cafes, and cashmere shops with reasonable prices. Although taxis and tuk-tuks don’t frequently pass by, the hotel easily arranges transportation upon request, and tuk-tuks are available in the evenings. If you’re considering this place, go ahead and book—you won’t regret it!

Cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms could have been better. We stayed there for 2 days. But the clearing of the dustbins and cleaning of bathrooms were not done. Overall cleaning wasn't a good experience.

The property is in a serene place and the ambience is peaceful and relaxing.

Me and my 9 year old son stayed here.. Enjoyed our stay, swimming pool was lovely, staff very nice👍 made us a huge breakfast one morning and it was delicious and felt bad because we coudnt eat it all we can't really eat in the morning but we appreciated it so thank yous.. Little cottage we had was very nice also Thanks guys 😊👍
