Had a really pleasant stay. Owners are extremely cordial, sweet and helpful. Great food made by aunty with a lot of love. Location is beautiful, but 5 kms away from Madikeri town. So having your own vehicle is best scenario. My vodafone network did not work at all. So pls take Jio/airtel sim if you are planning to stay here. They are working on putting up a good wifi network. Apart from the network issue everything else was just great!

The wooden table and coffee tables in the room are not stable for keeping stuff. There was no electric kettle or cups provided. no toiletries provided..just two small lux soaps. can do better in providing facilities/amenities in the room. The facilities mentioned said kitchen - refrigerator, kettle and 1 bedroom cottage but basically it is a room with attached bathroom. Also due to the table being unstable one of the filled bottle fell and break. It was not expected from the host to complain or charge for that bottle when the reason being was unstable furniture. Thats the only bitter and unexpected experience that we had at the very end of our trip when we were heading for a long-drive back to our home in Chennai.

Property is good and maintained. Rooms are very clean. nice beautiful surrounding of coffee plantation for a peaceful stay. Breakfast served was superb. Also the Dinner offered was very homelike. we had our help join us on the trip. we assumed it is a 1 bedroom cottage and will have extra hall space for her to accommodate but it was just one bedroom with attached bathroom. Appreciate the host for arranging a small room in their property for an additional cost. Also they were helpful in terms of helping us use their kitchen for warming milk. (but like a said we expected to have a small kitchen set up in the accommodation itself, which was not there)

Nothing negative but I can give a suggestion of including an induction or kettle in the room to make green tea or Maggie etc.

The place was nestled inside a plantation. It was very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are also done nicely. The bathrooms are huge. A special mention to uncle and aunty for being incredible hosts. Their hospitality made this stay fantastic. I would advise to eat here as much as possible because aunty cooks amazing food.

It is located a bit far from most of the famous sightseeing locations.

The room is quite spacious and very clean. Located amidst coffee plantations, the stay offers a quiet and calsming experience. The hosts are really good and very friendly. The food cooked by them is of exceptional taste, it is a must try. The hosts are kind enough to take us around the plantation and explained about various trees.

We did an early checkin and stayed for a day. The price and location : The rate of the room was too high as compared to the location we stayed in. Every-time we had to go to the city we had to pay around 150-180 Rs. per auto ride (yes it was easily available because of the humble hosts) . Coming to the facilities in the room, there was a voltage problem, the lights weren’t working when the fans were , and vice versa. The bathroom had a mirror with a partition at the back which you will keep hitting while getting ready, the towels weren’t changes and neither the water bottles were filled as necessary. You basically had to ask everything to get it done. There were super huge spiders due to the open vent for ventilation and nearby forest (could have been an exhaust to prevent this) . The room was clean from its outside but if you look closely you will find a hell lot of spider webs ! We weren’t really able to sleep at night because of the fear of spiders falling on us . Connectivity: The overall environment is good, the surroundings are serene, but there is no wifi and very little signal (both for jio and airtel) Games/recreation: there were as such no games/recreation. The hosts may take you to roam around the coffee plantations.

Handwash and bath soap was provided. The quilts were really nice and the bedsheets were super clean . There was appropriate space in the room for 2 people to settle in . The hosts were very warm, we received the best food and hospitality in their house whenever it was breakfast time .
