Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The brakfast is a little bit poor equipped and as almost normal, you can't get a fresh coffee anywhere. On the other hand, Darjeeling is famous for it's tea, not coffee 😁
The location of this hotel was the best. The rooms are a little bit tiny but i guess that this is normal in Darjeeling.

Bed too hard shower room ridiculously small
Location excellent - bed so. So HARD but toasty warm. Shower tiny, and wet slippery floor with no towel/matt for the floor.

1. Repairing job was carried on the roof creating lot of noise. Ins pite of complaint the issue was not taken care of and carried till 5 PM. 2. Bathroom is too small, hardly any water pressure in the shower. 3. There is no almirah in the room to keep clothes 3. As compared to price facility is not upto the mark.
Staff are cooperative, advantage of location.

Wash room a bit small. They need to install shower curtains as shower head is in a wrong place (makes the whole wash room wet when one takea shower). Water preasure sometimes erratic.
A nice little gem of a hotel very close to Mall road. New construction, good interiors, smiling and helpful staff. Food quality is good. Partial mountain view from the top floor from some rooms. Heater in the room, also controllable heated beds (nice)., Lift works.

The reception area is dreadful. It is more suitable for cars rather than for welcoming people as it is used as a drive in! The restaraunt opening hours were very limited (7-9.30pm) and had to eat elsewhere everyday. Also we did not like the music that is played in the corridors as we could hear this when trying to sleep.
The rooms were very clean and the electric blankets were a nice touch. The door staff and cleaners were very friendly. The location was great for shops and restaraunts. (Very close to Glenarys etc)

The bathroom floods after every shower. Even though we are a couple, they only give us one towel. We had to ask for another one every day. There was a party and noisy music until late into the night during the weekend. No stopping in front of the hotel, so you have to walk 50 meters to the lobby with your luggage. Poor breakfast.
The location is in the central area of Darjeeling.

The staff tried their best but appeared hamstrung by policies that prevented assistance with organising taxis and the like. The hotel is on a very busy street with traffic noise from cars and trucks all night readily audible from our rooms on the first floor. When the hotel staff were told this they just said it was tourist season and shrugged. We had a battle to get towels and toilet paper, something to do with the laundry being late. So we either didn't have towels or toilet paper or both! Coffee in the restaurant was only bad instant and the breakfast woeful so despite it being in the price we went elsewhere. On the price, it was very expensive for both the accomdation and service offered.
The hotel was clean although all 4 people in our group got gastro while there.

This new hotel has an EXCELLENT location, just below Glenary's on the Mall. It was sparkling clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the service quite attentive. An elevator is provided, which is helpful for the upper floors. A restaurant is on site. I only had one meal there, a buffet dinner, which was plentiful and varied.
