A little on the expensive side overall, but given the facilities and how far they are away from the main city, its still reasonable. But it is a point to consider as not everyone may be able to find the value in it.

Breakfast: The breakfast was excellent. Amazing spread. Constantly refilled, so it was always fresh. Plenty of staff are constantly on the go, cleaning plates and glasses to replace the ones taken. Available to give orders for eggs or dosas as well. All in all, a very sumptuous breakfast. Room: Very spacious. Had a big enough bed for myself, my wife and son. Very comfortable mattress. Had a table and chair, and a big sofa. A good view outside the room as well. A couple of chairs on the balcony, which was excellent in the mornings. Spacious bathroom, with a separate shower area. It had a ceiling rain shower. Room Service: Excellent Room service. Very tasty food. All the dishes ordered were good. Indian, Italian and Chinese. Very good cooks. They deliver the food to your room within 15-20 mins, still piping hot and fresh. Staff: Very friendly staff. They were able to handle kids well, which is not the case everywhere. They could speak Hindi and English. Very understanding and always offered help for anything at all. Location: It's right at the edge of the forest area. The roads to the entrance are good, just a bit of a patch till the gate, but once inside you are totally in a different world. Had facilities for cycles, and an area to play basketball or tennis. Great swimming pool, a separate one for kids as well. Excellent facility to walk around the entire property. Plenty of greenery so you will never notice the heat outside even during peak afternoon. Excellent for couples, families and business trips

The hotel was lovely.. the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Food was very tasty and the service and staff was very good.. the evening magic show and the live performances by the couple singing and playing the guitar was an excellent addition..the activities chart given to us during check in was a brilliant option and helped me planned my day for sightseeing..the gentleman managing the treks and activities was super helpful. The spa was good.. esp the lady who did the massage was excellent. My sr citizen mother enjoyed the experience and felt releif from her pain and aches. All in all, felt completely comfortable and at home, through our 2 night stay.. thankyou

The food other than breakfast was not upto the mark,local cuisine was also tasteless and I thought it was not to Taj standards. The spa is quite ineffective with Kerala ayurvedic massages.

Items in the dinner buffet were very limited. There could have been more options. Also the taste of the food (dinner) was average, which is not what you expect for a brand like Taj.

The atmosphere, the vibe, the cleanliness of the compound is amazing. You can have a plenty of after-dinner or early-morning walk within the lush green compund. There are some beautiful spots for taking great photos. Here they have domesticated rabbits as well; feeding them carrots is a next level experience. Breakfast was good with many options available.

The buffet menu wasn't justified/the taste was not great. The buffet arrangement was not good, no bowls/spoons next to the dessert counter. The staff was not attentive to the needs of the customers. There is only one restaurant and the interiors were not designed for a fine-dining experience. Overall property as mentioned earlier lacks the wow factors and do not provide any activities inside the resort.

Well-maintained property. The staff is very friendly and courteous. SPA services are excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by us. But it's over expensive for the facilities provided and lacks the WOW factor for the price paid. Not worth the money spent.

On checking in, we were provided an ‘upgrade’ to a larger cottage, where the furniture, light fixtures, sheets all looked very dated, it just had a little bit extra space. Whereas in fact the deluxe room that we had booked was better looking that the ‘upgrade’. I think it’s sometimes best not to give an upgrade unless what you have to offer is better than what the client has booked. In general, the property needs an update to include design that looks and feels like 2022. I am slightly concerned about the free-standing (unsecured) light fixture in rooms that so easily fall down, they could be very dangerous if you have little kids around.

The highlight of the property is definitely staff, they make you feel looked after and cater to all your needs big or small, with great attention. From check in to check out everything was managed so well. They even arranged for our baby’s milk to be warmed during early morning hours. They have little farm animals that are let free in the garden during the day, kids will love this.
