Wish we had a better view of the lawn from our room. As we had arrived early and wanted to move in quickly they provided us with what was available. I am not saying this as a criticism but I hope next time when we visit we can get a room that lets us enjoy the beautiful garden and lawns.

We had arrived a bit early around 08:00 AM and they let us check in without much fuss. Breakfast was excellent and staff were quite willing to help - we wanted crispy dosa and we got that. Choices available for breakfast is also excellent. We had an issue with the taxi that we had arranged from a local company. It was an unsafe vehilce and we asked them to drop us back to the hotel. Hotel staff went out of their way and though all their own vehicles were unavailable they arranged one from their supplier in no time. Want to thank Ms. Ayesha for going out of her way in arranging this so speedily. We had already checked out and there was no compulsion on them to arrange something for us. The attitude of the staff at gate, reception and concierge just makes one realise how Taj excels in customer care.

The best place to stay whilst visiting Lucknow. A short tuk tuk ride to the main sites. A wonderful restaurant and greta breakfast. The pool would be great in the warmer months.

Right from the hotel GM Mr Ranjit Singh & all the hotel staff was extremely cooperative and the service was impeccable. Great Awadhi food perhaps the best " Tunde ke Kabab" in the city.

The room rent has inexplicably shot up, seemingly overnight. Can't be rationalized in any way, compared to the room rents of the other hotels in the city. Certainly the amount paid is not in proportion to the services provided.

I feel the room size was small and didn't feel it was value for money. The snacks and the mini-bar offered in the room were exuberantly charged, at least some things should ve been complimentary apart from breakfast. You could've done like this- make one snack and one drink complimentary and the rest could've been chargeable.

The overall hospitality, the smooth check-in, the fulfillment of special requests for bouquets and cake in our room prior to reaching the room, and The hospitality of the spa services for both Males and Females. The overall ambiance and mesmerizing feel of the whole property, everything, and every bit of it to the last was awesome. Special mention to The male physiotherapist in the spa. He was excellent and exceeded expectations. He knows his job in and Out.

Reception staff was hard to deal with. Something simple as extending our stay took 5 visits to the desk. Also accidentally overcharged us.

Good pool, breakfast and rooms. Everything clean. Service of most staff was good. I fell ill during my stay and the staff was very helpfull with me.
