The hotel only provided soap and shampoo in the bathroom, so we had to prepare our other bathroom supplies. The bathroom plumbing should be improved, the shower and sink drainage worked very slowly. At the price of around INR 600 per night, I didn't get breakfast included so I think the pricing level should be reconsidered.

The location is close to ATMs and there is a small food court named Foodiez. 7-minute walk to the Connaught Place and Janpath Road. The area is not hectic despite the location being still in the city center. TV channels are mostly available, compared to other hotels that are charging fees for TV channels. The WiFi connection is also good enough.

There are those people outside of the hotel who are almost like tourist vultures. They approach you and is very helpful to divert you to seemingly random taxi or rickshaw, suggesting that they are safer for sightseeing or transportation. Later, it will turn out that they are all co-conspirators. They provide you safe service and very friendly, but at the cost way higher than usual. Not sure these are related to hotel staff or not. But as you stay longer, seeing them was nuisance.

The property was fairly responsive prior to the stay as I had so many questions. However, don’t expect usual customer service-basically keep your expectations low. Upon arrival and during stay, the service was not bad-the front desk staff and cleaning staff was friendly. The location is great if you want to stay at the center of key shopping area or some tourist attractions such as India gate.

Reception doesnt reflect the cost of the property. These is no atmpsphere at all. The breakfast is hugly overprices. The reception staff on artival was quite rude when I asked if we could book in after I sent many requests. After saying I made another booking for Feb and I am going to cancell due to NO flexibilty regarding getting some of our rooms, shortly after, suddenly 3 rooms became available. I didnt enjoy my experience at The Hans and wont use the property again.

1. It was nearly impossible to locate the hotel on G-maps; it led to the Lalit, where a Security guard very kindly and courteously guided me to the location. 2. None answered the phone; the number provided on Booking.com didn't work; 3. Staff were kind but callous and were not eager for any feedback - they stared blankly. 4. There wasn't even a proper name board at the entrance.

Room was comfortable - view from 21st Floor was splendid. Centrally located; very near to the Supreme Court which was my target. The Security guard at the gate was customer-centric, very kind and extremely helpful and caring. Reception was spacious and comfortable.

I think the Hans gets a bit of a rough time online we stayed here for 3 nights and to be honest it was probably one of the better hotels of our 2 weeks in India. The staff are extremely helpful and our room was clean and had a really good view of the city. My main gripe is not having bottled water but been given water in refillable glass bottles. We didn’t risk it and ended ip buying water from a store and bringing it in. But overall I would recommend this hotel for the money you can’t complain!
