Super courteous staff, excellent committed service levels, starting from the reception desk till housekeeping till welcome staff on gate Excellent location, superb Nariman Point Marin Drive and Sea View, Firangi Pani Restaurant Manager was too concerned about kid's happiness and offered the choicest items. Awesome experience for all of us. Charles, Sheikh (the tallest of them all) and the group ensured our safety while leaving the hotel. Superb!

I wish they handled our reservation more carefully. After we confirmed with the manager at the reception that we have an additional night under my friend reservation, we had a staff knocked on our door at 10pm to check if everything was OK, and then followed by a phone call from the reception regarding our reservation. This is not what I expected from a 5-star hotel.

The spa was wonderful. I got a Balinese massage and it was exactly what I need after a long trip. The masseur was professional and provided a relaxing environment. Her name is Unijoy. Highly recommend the Spa.

We paid half-day rate on the last day, in order to check out late. Despite confirming this with 8 separate staff on 4 occasions, all of whom insisted they’d made a note of it, we were still phoned late in the afternoon in an accusatory tone - as we hadn’t removed our baggie from the room - which was incredibly infuriating.

Absolute luxury, top notch facilities and staff who were delighted to help.

The only problem was that the bed in my room was a little unsteady.

Breakfast is diverse and tasty, especially fruits. I want to thank the hotel employee, who was extremely polite and cultured. I would like to thank him for hos work and the gift from the hotel and apologize for, unfortunately, forgetting his name.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Views over Marine Drive and the Mumbai Skyline are amazing. Staff terrific, very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast buffet, very nice Pool area.

Some of the rooms have been upgraded more recently than others so you can end up with a floor that has tiny problems: sticky curtains, showers too tight to twist, stuff like that. Really minor stuff. The problem is the service is so good, client expectations become unrealistic!! I have serious issues with them shutting down some of their restaurants too. It used to be a gorefest! But then, the Oberoi next door has some really exotic places and its only 100 steps away along an internal aircon passageway. Lastly, I get spoilt stupid at breakfast, and have to skip lunch, and then spend many hours shedding the extra weight! That cant be ethical!

I have spent an estimate 500 nights here since 1992. That I keep coming back is endorsement enough! That said, I am most impressed by the staff training standards. These people work selflessly, flawlessly, most thoughtfully. In the last two visits, I had sundry minor issues. Both times I went straight to the Duty Manager, a young lady named A. Nikita. She effortlessly handled the niggles with a broad smile and for good measure, upgraded me to a suite the next time I showed up. Long story short, I am back here next week! Then there is the view of the Queens Necklace (is that what marine drive is called now?). Take my word for it: spend the small money and upgrade to a sea view. Its a whole different experience than city view!
