Staff was out of this world fantastic from checking in to checking out can’t say nothing bad it was a wonderful experience. And the location was fantastic. It was a bunch of food restaurants bars in walking distance.

Amazing heritage property full of history. A real delight to stay.

The breakfast was poor, the staff just were not keeping up with the guest. We asked several times for cups as they had run out. Tables were not cleared quick enough. They had a hot plate on to make omelettes but no one was present. When we eventually caught their eye they went around the back to make the world’s smallest omelette. Why waste the gas if they weren’t using it? We ordered drinks the previous evening and waited 15 minutes for the mixer to arrive having asked 3 times. We did have lunch though and that arrived swiftly and the waiter was on the ball for that one.

Great place, been before.

Heritage building. Helpful and kind staff team. Pleasant in-house restaurant.

Electricity off twice a day. Wi-Fi is off for a day. I suspect this isn’t unusual. No room cleaning - it turns out the procedure is to leave the key in a pigeon hole for cleaning; this is not explained at check in. Bad VFM at $75; what an I paying more for?

It was a fairly nice place. Dinner was reasonable (pork chp was tough); breakfast was quite good, though, and staff happy to oblige.

Staircase. Needs a hazard-strip (black/yellow stripes) on the topmost riser, as it is higher than other risers, therefore a trip-hazard for people un-familiar with the set-up. Also, steps needed to be re-carpeted as the current one is nearly thread-bare. Smells. The hotel needs to request action by the PMC to ensure the creek smells are eliminated. These smells early in the morning are off-putting to tourists. Fortunately,.we were not affected by mosquitoes or flies, which is a positive.

Friendly team and great vintage accommodation. Safe and clean. Great cat. I have stayed in main building before where wifi does work well. Always kindly friendly team.

Wifi didn't work in certain rooms. I was shifted to a room where wifi did work. Electrics sockets were faulty in first room I stayed in. I got an electric shock from TV socket adaptor.

AC was not working, after 2 hours of effort they repaired. Water was muddy as it was later pumped and filled. Not worth the money. Too costly

We prefered the Pousada Inn, with quiet and nicely renovated rooms. Rooms in the regular Inn look a bit oldfashioned. Nice terrace restaurant on upper floor with good food in the middle of the old city district. Really nice service.
