Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaEverything was great, remember to get proper directions to the place as the roads can be confusing to people traveling in the area for the first time. No Airtel connectivity but the host had WiFi which worked flawlessly throughout the trip so no complaints
The place was beautiful and exactly what we needed. The hosts were wonderful and the caretaker Rajeesh went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. The food that was prepared was great and the breakfast was really good! The only thing I wish was that I had more time to enjoy this place as our trip was only 2 days and 3 nights. I recommend this place to anyone seeking peace and tranquility with added benefits of farm life - plucking vegetables, cooking it fresh, there's nothing like it!

IndiaWi-Fi is there but slow, but it helped us slow down. When it rained the roads are a little tricky to drive on.
We spent a few slow, memorable days at Zyamadhari, driving in from Bangalore (about 6.5 hours). The last stretch—through Nagarhole tiger reserve—was a highlight in itself, with deer, elephants, and peacocks along the way. Do note: phone signal drops near the end, so it’s worth saving your map offline. We stayed in the modern cottage, which comfortably fits four. From the balcony, we watched deer forage in the mornings. One evening, we were treated to fog rolling in just as a thunderstorm began—completely surreal and beautiful. The farm is peaceful and lush—fruit trees, flowers, monkeys, birds everywhere. Rajeesh, the caretaker, looked after us with quiet attentiveness, and the food (grown on the farm) was simple, local, and cooked with real care. Just make sure to share your food preferences clearly. We did a safari at Thollpetti nature reserve nearby—a raw, no-frills experience in a truly wild forest. Binoy, the host, was warm and responsive throughout. We also toured their traditional Kerala-style cottage on the property—charming and full of character. If you go, spend at least three nights. It takes time to settle into the rhythm of the place—and that’s where the magic is: waking up to birdsong, watching deer at dusk, and just slowing down.

IndiaThe home‑cooked meals were delicious and comforting. Our cottage provided a cozy haven, while the sprawling fields became our dog’s personal playground. To our delight, our cat spent hours perched on the sunlit windows, soaking in the nature. Every moment was elevated by Rijesh, the gracious caretaker, whose genuine warmth and attentive service made us feel like cherished guests.

charming location between rice paddies and forest, several small houses tastefully arranged as a resort by the owners of the organic farm where the rice is grown served to tasty meals served by Rajeesh, actif as an excellent caretaker, guide, travel facilitator and cook. He took us to a river and famous temple nearby and arranged transport to the jeep safari at Tholpetty. Rooms spotlessly clean and comfy.

IndiaFrom the main road we have to take a route that is about 2 kms to reach the location. This road was under maintenance. The condition of the road for the last 200 metres was also not very good. It would be nice to put a sign to the homestay where we take a right turn. Would help to locate the place correctly given the fact that there will be limited internet connection.
This homestay is amidst the Western ghats and is surrounded by greenery. Lots of bird chirping and a nice place to relax. We saw some rare birds and the great Malabar squirrel was on the tree right in front of the house stealing raw mangoes from the tree. Rajeesh was our guide. He was very kind, helpful to show us around and attended to all our needs promptly. The house was very clean and had all amenities that were mentioned on the website. They have the concept of organic farming and also serve local food on request. Overall myself and my family had a relaxing time and a good time.

IndiaThere really isn't anything that is so evident that i want to point but the wifi signal was week but honestly we didn't feel the need to use our phones.
The serenity is one of the things that will be appreciated amongst the great food, clean and useful amenities and a very helpful caretaker. Mr. Bejoy was very helpful as he was making sure that we reach the stay safely and have a good time and he helped us to figure out a lot of things which we had questions about and then comes Mr. Rijeesh who is an exceptional caretaker, he provided us with whatever we asked and more, he also took on some nearby attractions. The whole stay and everything about it is something I highly appreciate and which I will blindly trust for the next time visit so overall if anybody is looking for a stay which has the potential to make u appreciate the beauty of silence, nature and a majestic sunrise with all the required amenities which u can enjoy without any worries then this is the place. Keep up the good job and I will be visiting the soon again. Thank you.

IndiaAlthough the Internet Section said that 'No Internet available', it should also mention that 'No Mobile network available'. We were out of network throughout our stay with no WiFi access & no mobile connectivity. I had to wait @ the main gate for about 30 minutes with my family & 2 kids for someone to welcome us & with no network connectivity, we were strangled without any option.
The stay was good. It's a Farm House that will give a Pure Village vibe. Very good for a 1 day cut out from the real world & stay in your comfort zone with no disturbance from any external forces :)

IndiaTo be honest I couldn’t find anything.
The charm of the traditional cottage (aka Ashokam )where I stayed was simply enchanting. It perfectly combined rustic authenticity with comfort, providing a unique and memorable stay. The calmness and positive vibe of the place were truly remarkable. The serene environment and the natural beauty surrounding the farmhouse offered a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The view from the window, overlooking the lush, nature-friendly landscape, was breathtaking and added to the tranquility of the stay. Additionally, the nearby tree house provided a different yet equally delightful experience. Being so close to nature, nestled among the trees, was something special and not to be missed. Thank you for providing such a beautiful and peaceful retreat. I look forward to returning and experiencing the magic of your farmhouse again. Special mention: The nature themed bathroom. Only one thing to say just don’t go by words, Just visit and experience it.
