We stayed in eight different places in Iceland (some twice the price) and this one was our favorite by far. The views of rolling hills and sea from every room were incredible, especially the kitchen. The home was perfectly comfortable, with plenty of extra blankets, towels, etc to get very cozy. We enjoyed the sauna. And we took a long walk along the water to the north, which was stunning. I wish we could have stayed longer. Will never forget this place.

Nothing - it was perfectly equipped and idyllic.

This place could be an advertisement for solitude and tranquility. With a stunning location along the seaside and seals for neighbors, you can totally settle in, relax and unwind. With plenty of space for a big family traveling together, and two bathrooms (including laundry!), this place is perfect for a group of travelers.

Wonderful house in amazing place! It has everything you need and more. We felt like at home. The host is ready to help with any problem or advise. She told us about seasl watching point nearby, only 10 min. walk from the house. It was amazing! The house located in the beautiful small bay, no other houses nearby, only you and a wild nature. It is the perfect place for a small retreat. We spend here only one night, but I wish we'll stay more.

the property was remote and had some gravel road for around 7-8 kms but easy to drive on

The location was on the ocean. We did find a seal swimming in the water and a bunch of ducks and sheep around but did not see seals on the shore. The home was spacing, clean and very comfortable for a family of 4. two families can stay here. there was a washer with drying racks, a sauna that we did not use and dart board that we had fun with. the kitchen was well equipped. home had 2 restrooms. there was coffee and tea that was great!!

The dining table in the kitchen was a bit small for our group of 5. We would suggest to have an extendable long table for 6-8 to be placed in the sitting room. Also, we need to buy food for cooking in advance before arrival because the nearest supermarket is 45 mins drive away, small and pricy.

The location is beautiful and secluded. It had two bathrooms and plenty of space for our large group of 6. We saw seals north along the coast. Very clean and everything we needed to prepare dinner and breakfast.

WOW, the location is absolutely amazing. Right on the water with amazing views. We did not get to see seals however they frequent this location. The home had a washer and drying rack so we were able to do laundry. If you are staying for a longer time there was a great assortment of cooking spices available. Also coffee and tea. The owners had great communication with us.

I loved being out so far and feeling so far away from everyone. The northern lights were spectacular since there was no light pollution. This place was so peaceful. Sheep grazing in yard and seals playing down the path. I only wish we had been able to spend more time there. Highly recommend this place.

Everything here was so well done. The house was clean and tidy and every amenity we needed was there. The location is extremely remote, but it made for perfect dark-sky conditions for viewing the northern lights.
