The sofa bed wasn't comfortable and there was disruptive noise from the fridge, air conditioner, hot tube.

Very friendly staff and great views right in the middle of lava field! It was super clean and had all ustensiles that you might need! The inside room is comfortable!

The owner was slow to respond to messages. We tried to order breakfast a few days before we arrived but they didn’t see the message until after we had already stayed.

It’s advertised to sleep 4, which it does, but the 'bed' in the living room is not very comfortable at all.

Loved the isolation. House was clean and accommodations were well maintained. We appreciated the kitchenette and the availability of coffee and tea.

Blinds are a kind of transparent so they can’t isolate the sunlight fully

A really nice secluded place. If one needs peace and quiet,that’s the right location. It has one bedroom,so definitely it’s challenging for more than two people. The hot tub is a great addition

Some doors didnt close well. Some irritation to find the right house - despite signs. Noise from a water pipe directing roof water against a wall during a rainy night. But all not a big issue. It is really nice! Absolutely recommend it.

Very good. Very friendly family. One of our favorite stays. Beautiful rich nature. Well equiped home. 6 beds (2 of them upstairs in open area) Pool ready for watching auroras in the dark.

We had an amazing stay here at Eldhraun Holiday home. The cabin was clean, very cosy and had everything one could need while staying there. Linda is an amazing host and very easy to communicate. Breakfast was delicious and hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a long day. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Iceland.

Great place, lots of room for 4 adults. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds. Very clean and welcoming. Hot tub was great for relaxing after all day walking. Tiny thing - board with my name on entrance felt like a very nice wellcome. We really enjoyed our stay, we will gladly recommend it to anyone and looking forward to visit again.

Cabin 2 has plenty of room for four. Living space is large. Bedrooms and bathroom are very nice. Hot tub was clean and easy to use. You need to be smaller and able bodied to get to the upper level.

The property was nice and clean to a high standard and had everything promised. The hosts were so kind to leave the hot tub in a ready state on our arrival which was the prefect end of our busy day. The location was nice and secluded, exactly as we expected and offered us much needed quiet relaxing time. Highly recommend it and will definitely book it again!

nice place to stay in the "middle of nowhere" - very good communication with our host-family. the houses are clean an comfortable, the hotpots were ready when we arrived. perfect!!! - just to let everybody know for longer stays: it´s no frost in the kitchen, just a fridge. no problem in deep winter but maybe good to know for plans in summertime.

It is a little bit pricey for two people, but then again Iceland is and you totally get your money's worth. We also booked like two weeks in advance, so maybe that also played a role...

I liked this little house very much! You could see that the owners think of every detail and for them it's important, that the people feel comfortable. They also provide a lot of information to get to the place and about the appliances of the apartment and activities in the area. You have everything you need and more. House number 1 was extremly cozy, there were even candles. In this place you have a lot of privacy, the house and jacuzzi views are really amazing. The jacuzzi is set to 40 degrees Celsius, which is really good, because it was quite cold outside and otherwise it would be difficult to enjoy it. I would definitely come here again every time. Thank you!! 😀

the property was quiet and beautiful. situated on the edge of the lava field with miles of views we stayed in cabin 3 and everything was clean . enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a long day driving Wish we had more time to enjoy this special place
