Friendly staff. Decorated nicely. Very relaxing place to stay in walking distance to central Reykjavík. We also enjoyed happy hour drinks. Great view from our room.

The climb back up the hill from down town.

The hotel was nice and clean, in a convenient location. Downtown Reykjavik was about 10 minutes walk.

Two single beds instead of a double bed, when asked reception to put them together I was told that this is the first time they were asked to do so and that was impossible which is curious. There was no hot water in the sink in the bathroom and the shower drainage was clogged. The kettle smelt of coffee!!

Great ambience, great staff. Good restaurant and breakfast.

Not immediately in the touristy part of the capital. Made parking easy but we had to walk a bit.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the recommendation to eat at "Pots and Pans".

I could have booked a few more nights.

Everything here is wonderful, including the view to the waterfront. I chose this location on reviews about it being a ‘foodie’ location. It far exceeded expectations of the palate. The room was excellent, the staff, like old friends. We’ll be back next year when the sun is up and… well, stays up. :)

Just needs some detail work. Dragonfly sign on front was falling off, overhead light in bed did not work. Maybe add some fresh flowers in the pots outside.

The front desk clerk was excellent. He recommended the best restaurants and was patient booking excursions.

Rooms could be bigger but thanks to the fornitures that isn't an issue at all. You can't completely open the windows of the room but this is an issue I've experienced everywhere in Iceland

I only stayed one night, but this hotel really surprised me in the best way. First of all, the location: although it’s in a mostly residential area that’s not particularly charming at first glance, it’s actually just a few minutes’ walk from the city center — very convenient. From the outside, the building isn’t eye-catching, but once inside, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with lots of wood and cozy colors. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — which is not always a given — and I loved the little touches like complimentary coffee and water available throughout the day. The common areas are beautifully designed, and although the rooms aren’t very big, they’re thoughtfully furnished, comfortable, and highly functional. All in all, I found it to be a great place to stay. If I come back to Reykjavik, I’d definitely stay here again.

Although a 4 star hotel its missing some expected things like mini bar and an AC... Also the curtains in the room is arranged in a way that still lets light in. Light also comes from the semi-seethrough door of the bathroom.

Good location. Hotel reception area was nice and cozy. Good size of room.
