The room was nice and cozy, good shower.

The bad was too soft, and prices at the restaurant were too expensive.

Location and rooms are very spacious. Nice restaurant.

It was very clean and comfortable. Everyone was welcoming. The dinner was delicious! Hot tubs were a bonus!!>

I can't think of anything except there was no Kleenex in the room.

The restaurant was quite good. The staff were also excellent, especially the young server from Poland (forgot to ask her name). She was a delight and a hard worker. Nice to see nowadays.

Our bathroom sink leaked onto the floor. Minor maintenance issue that we reported to staff. So assuming it was fixed, just a minor issue.

The staff was helpful. They changed our room when the water heater in our room was not working.

The water heater in the original room was not working. We got a room change. But the room was not really clean. There were cobwebs, which I did not expect. For the price we paid, we had expected better.

Rooms where super nice and comfortable. Tv could connect to your Netflix account so a great way to chill after a long day exploring

The smell of the bathroom was intense

We loved the hotel tub in the garden! It was a great relaxation to enjoy a drink under the sky after a tiring day!

The duvets were one of the best. My husband liked the big showerhead. I only used the smaller one which was okay since I did not want my hair wet.

Everything else was mediocre. The staff did not acknowlege us when we came in to the reception. They did not even look up at us untill we rang the bell - right next to them. Then they annoyingly smiled. When they finally came to book us (actually only two-three minutes later so not that bad, just the attitude) the girl was SO not wanting to bother and we saw straight through her fake politeness and smiles. Really rushing us along. Another thing was we had a hard time understanding half of what she said in english so as to not make it more awkward we just said yeah and okay. The restaurant was fully booked - way too small - but the receptionist did recommend other places. We only understood what those places were after she wrote them down on a piece of paper. The outside terasse from our room was not maintained with weeds and the bushes were not trimmed. Not exactly inviting to sit outside. My husband mixed up the body wash with the body lotion - why have the body lotion in the shower next to the body wash and in the shower?! The curtains were torn, as there were actual holes in the curtains. Both of us woke up freezing in the middle of the night as there was no heat in the room. I could go on, but mainly the rest was a language barrier (native icelandic speakers and brought up american speaker versus I have no idea), unhelpfulness, rudeness and not a pleasant welcoming atmosphere. So sorry. Felt like a place that had been opened quickly with a good looking reception and no regard to the rooms and the guests needs (no outlets by the beds for charging phones, lamp was not even plugged in and was extremely dusty), but noisy after hours with some locals - though speaking a different language - drinking outside the main enterance and staff leaving work, honking their car at another staff car late in the evening. Felt like it was left to kids to run this place with no respect for their work.

We were amused by the special mop for sweeping water in the bathroom, which quickly accumulated when taking a shower. It was funny, but it didn’t really bother us.

The room is too small for the price, and it’s hot during the night.
