Owners forgot to put the pre-requested and confirmed crib in the apartment and several different people asked us to look for it in closets- the apartment has no closets. Eventually I was asked to retrieve it from a closet in a different, also occupied, apartment. This was the only place we stayed in Iceland in which the crib was not already put together (and in the correct apartment for that matter). Highly inconvenient to drag it down a spiral staircase and put it together on the second day of our stay. The bathrooms are very small. Unable to take a shower without touching the curtain. Would benefit from a bowed out shower rod if it can be found in that size. Parking is paid street or lot parking and can be difficult to find, but this is likely the norm for stays in city center without designated lots. Night parking is free.

6 adults and 2 toddlers fit perfectly in this space. Location was absolutely excellent for walking a block to the main drag, but far away enough from the bar scene to be very quiet. Beds were comfortable, and having two bathrooms was clutch. Washer and dryer worked well. Kitchen was lovely.

We didn't have self check out instructions when we got there and we were very tired, so it was confusing. Parking was difficult. It would have been nice to know that we had to climb the stairs as I have knee issues and other visitors may have more serious mobility issues. There were only European outlets, which we weren't aware of until we arrived, so I ended up staying in our vehicle to charge a phone so we could wake up in the morning.

The internet was not working on site and was hard to access and reboot. The curtains were not fully blacked out, and was hard to sleep. I would recommend adding blackout curtains to cover the brightness a bit better.

It was easy to get there with parking on the street. The host was very responsive and friendly.

We had bad luck checking in. There was another couple already there in the same unit who took our keys in the self-check in box at the same time. But they knew the got the wrong unit because they booked a unit for 2 person. After some drama and calling the contact number, the couple finally figured out they were in the wrong building and handed us the key. It would be nice to have extra pillow & blanket since the unit is for 7 people but only 6 sets of blanket and pillow.

Apartment was spacious enough for 7 adults and location was good. It was a 20 minutes walk from the BSI Terminal where flybus dropped us. There is a coin laundry walking distance and main places to visit is walkable. Place was clean and kitchen well equipped. Could have used extra blanket and pillows since there were only 6 sets. But we made do with sharing.

- the drain smells so bad, also entrance smells ancient as well - the host could be more accommodating - the light in the living room is so dim, after sunset i feel insecure about the place. Very unlike the lihjiting and vibe in the photo, especially at night - not that easy to find parking around

The big issue was the lack of blackout curtains in the bedrooms. The window shades were cheap and made of paper and did a poor job of keeping out the long summer sun. This made sleeping more difficult than it needed to be.

The location was great - a quiet side street easily walkable to the main streets of the city. The size of the apartment was good and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Everything worked and was in good condition. The window seats in the living room and bedroom were fantastic and unexpected.

Most of the ‘blackout’ blinds were not sufficient at blocking light. This was something important to our stay and something I asked about ahead of time. Many blinds were broken/missing and made sleeping very difficult.

The location is great and parking was easy outside the property with no issues. Checking into the property was easy and all the codes etc where correct. The apartment was big and very clean, they had everything we needed. we loved the apartment. I would recommend it as close to city center and short walk 20min to bus station for airport
