The birds were a little noisy (and of course out of anyone’s control), and there were a good number of large spiders that can easily make an arachnophobe uncomfortable. However, they do seem to be only interested in catching flies and they do a good job of this. There are also a number of large and deep holes around the deck of the cottage (at least at #4) that can be rather hazardous.

Beautiful cottages with a great amount of space and perfect kitchen amenities. The dogs were definitely the highlight, so sweet and friendly and we loved playing with them. The view is unforgettable and I could have stayed here for a week!

Everything was nice.

Beautiful peaceful location where you could enjoy listening to all the birds and take in the scenery. The host was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we need and that we were comfortable. The properties’ dogs were super friendly, cute and well behaved.

Our little home was exceptional! Beautifully presented, clean, nice and private with a very easy self check in. The views from our room were amazing and we loved having the dogs around! The hosts were lovely and helpful, everything was perfect.

Highly recommend this place. Amaaazinng. Host is so responsive. Replies within minutes for all sort of questions. Has warm running water in shower. Room heating is amazing. If u plan to explore golden circle this is perfect place. Its in middle of all of it. Even to explore south iceland it's just 1.5hr ride away. Rooms are spotlessly cleaned whenever u return after a tiring day. Have friendly dogs roaming around. Can't stop praising this enough. Its quiet. You cannot hear near by people or noise. Has all kitchen essentials.

Loved it all!

Easy to find close to the ring road and super clean! The bed is really comfy, kitchen has everything you need and the bathroom is modern with a huge shower. Lots of room for us and two children, the families dogs greeted us most days which was a highlight for our children.

This was the most magical piece of property. Tucked into the countryside, felt remote but not too off the grid. The host was lovely and the dogs that live there were such a welcome sight after a long day of exploring. Wish we could’ve stayed here longer!

The cottage was very comfortable, warm, enough space inside and lots of space outside. Our son enjoyed playing with the dogs. Remote so good for Northern lights viewing (no light pollution). Close to Golden circle sights. I wish we were staying longer. The kitchen had everything necessary to prepare some dinner and breakfast (there is nothing close by, 20min to Selfoss).
