Property is using geothermal water that comes with its natural sulfur smell. As a turist in Iceland for first time it’s been unexpected, not sure if this is mentioned in the description.

The host, Helena, was extremely accommodating. She was so sweet. I met her family and she even accommodated a hitchhiker I picked up in her RV.

Helena is an exceptional host that genuinely cares about her guests. The ease and communication when checking in was just what we needed after long international flights. The apartment was safe and secure while homey at the same time. The location is close to public transport and walking distance to the botanic gardens and shops. We made two stays at Helena's Studio during our trip to Iceland, which was a welcoming treat to have a comfy bed, hot shower, and the added bonus of a washing machine to start out next journey after a week of trekking within the Central Highlands. We would highly recommend staying here and plan to return on our next trip to Iceland. Thank you!

There is no place to park the car and no elevator. We were here during bike week, and the roads were closed off. Check about events before booking.

Our apartment was very nice. Having a washer/dryer was very helpful. Being able to walk the city center was perfect.

It's worth noting that the studio does not have a stove, only a microwave, so if cooking is on your agenda, that might be something to consider.

The studio is freshly constructed, well-maintained, and the interior design is modern (I like it!). While I didn't have the opportunity to meet the host face-to-face, she was easily reachable through email and provided us with detailed instructions for check-in.

Would have been good to have a small carton of milk for tea or coffee. Confused about parking but there was room on the roadside which seemed safe.

There were 2 good chairs to sit on. Kitchen area with plates and cutlery to make breakfast. Nice touches like chocolate bar and 2 bottles of lovely lemon sparkling water, shampoo & conditioner. Very nice to have a washing machine. Great blackout curtains.

Quite compact, small bed, needs additional bed sheet to sleep between, hard to determine property up private driveway especially at night arrival, provided picture of door helped, providing street number would help more, shelf blocks bathroom sink, needs towel rails, wifi seemed slow

- location - horrible sheets- had to remove them as they were so itchy - bright light coming from the house - uncomfortable bed - offensive smell from shower The room is attached to a house so you basically staying in someone’s backyard. It’s in a suburb so if you are visiting for the first time I definitely wouldn’t recommend this location.
