Check in was a breeze. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I like that they had a heater in the bathroom. We had two wonderful meals in their restaurant. We got to see the Northern Lights right outside our room!!

We stayed in ten Iceland hotels. All were lovely. This room was the smallest and the least value. Also, it was the smallest room.

The single cover on bed. My wife and I were either too hot or too cold. Cover is weighted and if it slips to one side it slides all the way to the floor.

The location is very good for exploring the peninsula. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a great location to begin an exploration of Snaefellsnes peninsula. The rooms are a little basic in a block that is of portacabin type construction, however, they are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bathroom is on the small side but with a good shower. The views from the hotel, to the sea at the front and the glacier topped volcano at the back are beautiful. The hotel staff were all freindly and helpful and dinner in the restaurant was excellent (but be aware that there are not really any cheaper options and there isn't really anywhere else to go). However, the breakfast was included and was really good and set us up well for a busy day of sightseeing. So, all in all, this was a pretty good value stay.

We love this hotel. Our 2nd time staying here. Great room and showers. Dinner and Breakfast are excellent. Love the reception area to chill and enjoy . the employees are very nice and work hard to meet your needs. Very professional.

Restaurant was closing a bit early for my standards, so we could not dine with my family as we arrived late.

It's a really nice hotel and restaurant in the wilderness of the far west Snæfellsnes peninsula. The hotel has a great location for exploring the Snæfellsnes peninsula from west to east as we did with my family after our stay. Breakfast was really good with everything you need for a great start of the day. There are some nice views and walking paths around the hotel for those not feeling sleepy in the arctic day.
