Excellent hotel situated in the city center, where everything is accessible on foot. Very clean and confortable room (Junior Suite), high quality food at the restaurant and accommodating staff, helpful and polite. A 5* stay. We would definitely visit again.

There’s nothing I didn’t like it was all very good

We have been overcharged and despite emails to both the Hotel and Booking.com this issue has been ignored. We have since edited this review as the hotel (not booking.com) have sorted our issues. Will book direct going forward.

Room cleaning was generally good, though occasionally small details were missed - like not removing water from the espresso machine or restocking mint tea - but overall, the room was very clean and comfortable

Service staff often used guest elevators, which sometimes caused delays. Also, direct access for private cars or taxis would be helpful, especially when traveling with luggage and small children. Alternatively, having electric buggies to assist with pickup/drop-off from the square would make a real difference.

Clean and comfortable rooms, especially the interconnected setup which was ideal for our family. The staff were amazing & very friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety and great quality.

The bathroom vanity was small with no shelf below the sink. The bathroom was large it could have accommodated a double sink and larger vanity.

The location was in the market center which was very convenient to shops and restaurants.

Hotel staff not helpful and not particularly friendly. TV in room did not work during our entire stay. Service person sent to our room could not fix problem. No follow up. Hotel room was pretty basic and plain although bathroom was beautiful and impressive.

The Location of the stay was near to all the main attractions and it was walkable. It was such a pleasant and peaceful stay. We liked the breakfast and the staff was very helpful to arrange for early breakfast.

Its pricey. But to be fair, you get what you pay for.

The rooms were very stylish and well organized. The bedroom mattress was exceptional. And you wont find a better location in downtown Reykjavik. The spa was also amazing.

My room on the 3rd floor was very smelly. I think the ventilation system is connected to the restaurant below which brings food smell into the rooms and corridor
