Our room was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub and sauna in the evening. We also took a little time to meet all the animals and enjoy the farm. The location was also great, a quick drive to Selfoss with groceries, restaurants and anything you would need but also enjoy the countryside at the same time. The staff at breakfast was also helpful with giving advice about our plans for the day.

Very quiet place but easily reachable. Well located because there are many sites to visit nearby. So good to have access to a hot tub when it's -10'C outside! Breakfast is great!

One thing we realized during our stay is that the walls are super thin. So we could hear everything from the neighbouring room, which was not bothering us until we had louder neighbours during our last night. Just something to keep in mind.

The polish couple that worked in the guesthouse were absolutely amazing! They gave us amazing information regarding day trips and were super friendly. And they made an extended stay for us possible. The breakfast as mentioned by a lot of others is really good!

It was perfect for us! (One adult and three kids/teens)

This was the most perfect spot for discovering south Iceland. We were able to take three incredible packed days trips in three days and enjoy the hot tub and sauna on our return. Breakfast was so lovely, and waffles an absolute highlight and great coffee. Every evening we were able to use the microwave and hot water to heat up supplies and have hot drinks which was great. The location was perfect, 1.5 hrs from the airport, 1hr to the capital, 1.5 hrs from Vik. Selfoss was in easy distance with a great supermarket, bakeries and a bar or two and rural enough that you may just catch the lights if you’re lucky! The family team were so kind, helpful and gave us lots of great tips on where to go. The guide book they provided in advance and in the rooms was far better than the rough guide I had brought and had some brilliant and much quieter places to visit off the main tourist trail. Absolutely loved the guesthouse, we stayed for 4 nights and could not have wanted more! Thank you for a really brilliant stay!

The beds were fine but a bit old, was not a problem for us but be aware there are more comfortable beds out there.

Comfy bed. Hot tub/sauna was great. We got advice about seeing the northern lights and got to see them on our last night there as well as a volcano eruption in the morning. Owners were great and the waffles in the morning was yummy!

Everything was amazing the property the location for see the northern lights, and the breakfast with a homemade jam! The sauna and hot tub are perfect after a long day of exploring in the cold. The owners which is a family very friendly and they make as feel welcome and comfortable! That’s why we decided to spend an extra night in they guesthouse!
