Exceptional location overlooking the fiords and the town. Very nice host who came over to check all was good as we arrived in the middle of a storm. And he also brought chocolate cookies as a welcome gift! I would definitely recommend this place. You can really see that this cottage is cured with love by the owner.

The rooms were a bit small and no where to really put suitcases; however there were cabinets if you wanted to unpack but we only stayed one night. The shower was a bit small too.

The cabin was cozy and the view was wonderful. The hot tub and bathrobes are a nice touch, as well as the heated bathroom floor! The owner was very accommodating and kind. It was well furnished and stocked.

As the bedrooms were quite small, for longer stay it would be more suitable for 4 person.

Quiet area, great location, beautiful views. All accessories for cooking. Hot tube in the terrace. Pleasant host family, we communicated several times before arriving.

This was our favourite stay in all of Iceland! The location is amazing, the host greeted us and made us feel welcomed and it was clean and warm. Even the small details like the scavenger hunt made the experience so special. This is a MUST stay.

Cute place with an incredible view. Just outside of town, you felt like you had were away from everything and still was able to enjoy a 15 minute beautiful walk to the town of Seydisfjordur. It was a perfect 1 night stop for us on our way to Hofn. It was the most expensive of the places we stayed at and space was a little small inside but the view and the hot tub were amazing.

We absolutely loved our stay here and did not want to leave. The cottage was about a 5 minute drive from Seydisfjordur and on the side of a mountain with sweeping views of the entire fjord. To say that it had a "million dollar view" would be an understatement. The deck and hot tub were perfectly positioned to take advantage of that view and you could look out both the living room and kitchen windows and see it as well. The cabin is beautifully and very thoughtfully decorated. Our host and his family put a lot of thought and love into the decorations and tried to think of everything that you might need. They even left adorable "Viking helmets" ---which made for fun pictures. There were lots of dvds to "entertain" our kids and they cleverly created a "scavenger hunt" for guests. Ultimately, you "found" a little momento to take home and remember the cottage by. So fun and very thoughtful! Anyway, we thoroughly enjoyed meeting our hosts and just appreciate their sharing their wonderful cottage with us. We strongly recommend this cottage to everyone and can't wait to go back ourselves!

Shower cubicle was on the small side.

Lovely 3 bed property with great hot tub. Quiet location overlooking the fjord. Walkable to a few waterfalls and the town but very private. Helpful owners. Provided games which were very welcome when we were stuck inside for most of one day due to a storm. Appreciated the robes.

Having a bit more room in the cottage would have been nice. The bed took up most of the main bedroom and the stall shower was very small. While it all added to the character and coziness of the cottage, there were times it was a bit of a challenge, nothing major, though.

The setting of the cottage overlooking the fjord was phenomenal. The hot tub was a great thing to have. The host came by to great us and brought a small treat, which was very thoughtful and they were readily available. In general the cottage was well appointed.

Gorgeous setting! Close to town and a lovely waterfall. We saw reindeer. We had a flat tire and the host Jacob came to help us late at night which we appreciated. Cabin is cozy with cute personal touches. Recommend!

Loved the location! Stunning views of the Fjord & mountains. The spa was amazing & we got to see the Northern lights one night! The cottage was well equipped & had a really cosy feeling. Beds were comfortable too. Our host even popped over and gave us some chocolates! Such a lovely personal touch.
