We had a large part and so had 2 rooms. My family stayed in one with a bunk bed and 2 twin beds. It was warm and cosy. The room opened up to an inviting sitting area that had 2 bathrooms that was eaay to access and no problem to share. The kitchen was fully stocked with refriderator and freezor room if needed. We had a long day of travel and the weather was intense so we lounged that evening in our room together telling stories. We had a good nights sleep. Only wish we had more time to stay as there were some local hot pots close by that would have been lovely to soak in, and beautiful hikes and explorations not too far away. Hope to get out that way again and would definitely stay here again.

EVERYTHING 🤩🤩🤩 Location - perfect! You have the mountain with a waterfall and green pastures for the cute sheeps as your backyard. Then you have the beach at the front. So so so perfect. Host - very quick to response and informative.Wish we could've met her. Guesthouse - everything you'll need is provided(very thoughtful of the owner). There's 2 spacious lounge areas. Same with the Kitchen and dining areas. Plenty of bathrooms in the house. Much needed especially if all the rooms are occupied. Very tidy and clean. Our room - Spacious and clean. Can not fault it. Wifi - excellent! We truly enjoyed our stay in this guesthouse. Hopefully we can come back again.

This is a clean well appointed hostel with a great kitchen and amazing views out over the ocean. The woman who runs the hostel is kind and very informative. They have a very friendly sheep we were able to pet and play with.

the house gets cleaned every afternoon when the guests are out exploring. It’s a wonderful place in a wonderful location. When lots of people are staying at the same time it gets very busy in the kitchen and you may need to wait until you can prepare dinner after a long day of and about. Tip: prepare your dinner in the morning before you head out so you only have to warm it up later

Clean, spacious and comfortable room. The kitchen was well equipped. We could enjoy beautiful ocean views from a comfy living area. We had been staying in smaller facilities but Rauðsdalur was pretty big. Many families/couples were staying. It has multiple shower rooms and we did not have to wait.

There were a lot of guest rooms, so was a bit noisy. The bathrooms are only as clean as the guests keep it in a shared bath situation. Unfortunately, some men can’t or don’t choose to pee straight.

It had a great kitchen and refrigerator and freezer for guest use. The room was clean.

The location is amazing. The room are cosy, well-litten and warm. The guest house really has all the facilities one needs. The kitchen is well-equipped too. The detail that makes the difference : towels everywhere, that you can use for drying hands, dishes or simply swipe tables. The place is ideally located between Latrabjarg cliff & Dynjandi waterfall. Perfect for us as these two spots were the main purpose of our trip. Supermarkets however are far and...small. Anticipate your daily groceries before coming! Oil isn't a problem as you can refuel in Flokalundur.

After we asked a lot of questions about the cattle, we were shown around the farm. We got to pet the sheep and calves. Great experience, big thank you to the kind receptionist lady and the owners.

Room could have been a bit bigger, but thats just how icelandic guesthouses look like so i guess it is okay!

The best equipped kitchen we have seen in all accommodations in Iceland! Truly impressive, you can cook anything you want which is a great convenience. Great cozy vibe in the guesthouse, would 100% recommend to friends and family to stay there. Also, decent number of bathrooms per room, it was easy to find an empty one.
