How expensive it was for everything from foods to gifts! Make sure you take plenty of spending money or a credit card as you will need it.

Location close to all amenities for shopping and the harbour. The town centre had a good vibe - felt safe exploring. The spacious accommodation in a quiet neighborhood. Our hosts very helpful - gave us plenty of useful information. Welcomed us to their country with the gift of a beautifully illustrated book all about Iceland. Thank you

The only thing that could’ve been a little better for the neighbors/other people renting the place. Some of them did not hear to the 10 PM quiet time when returning back home a little later than that. But that is not the fault of the host.

There was nothing the host did not think of. We even received a welcome gift. The kitchen was stocked, including coffee. We did not think the apartment was as big as it was. Nice surprise!

Parking outside is a challenge but you can get for free up the road easy enough.

Lovely apartment very near to centre of Reykjavik. Great heating and shower. Good cooking facilities. Ideal for family with kids. Very responsive host.

Loved everything!

Sjonni was an exceptional host and answered all of our queries immediately. I forgot 2 shirts at the condo when I left and Sjonni kept them for me to for when I came back through Reykjavík after my cruise. He is so helpful.! He gave us good insight to places to buy groceries, eat. The best coffee shop with to die for baked goods “Hygge” only a block from the condo. The condo was in the perfect area to get to everything. Thank you again Sjonni for allowing us the pleasure of staying in your beautiful spot!

We had a wonderful stay at Sjonni’s place! The apartment was very nice, spotlessly clean, well organized and located in a central area, which made it perfect for exploring Reykjavik. Very spacious and clean apartment, perfect for our family of four. It was great to have a washing machine and a large airer to hang out the wet washing. It was lovely to park for free outside with only a short walk to the shops/restaurants. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Reykjavik Central apartments. The apartment was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The location was perfect. Only a short walk to the harbour area and around 20 mins walk to the main high street. Communication with Sjonni was brilliant, who promptly answered any questions I had.

Not much! Bathroom is a bit tight and the basin is very small so kept splashing water on the floor.

We had hoped for some basic essentials to be provided especially when visitors arrive late in the evening- there was a variety of teas which were appreciated but we have become accustomed to a little welcome basket in our apartments which we missed. The shower is within the bath, which would make it impossible to access for anyone with mobility issues. Also, although there was a bath mat, the surface of the bath was very slippery!

The location was excellent- a short walk to restaurants, bars, taxis. The area is quiet and very close to the harbour. The bed was so comfortable and the blinds kept out the light.
