It was a lot pricier than I usually book. I know you get what you pay for. And I got a lot. I'm just not usually in such high end place. This trip was booked on short notice and I kinda threw caustion to wind and booked this fabulous place. I found the electical switches in the room (which were very cool and modern) a little confusing. Could have used a tutorial on their operation.

It's a beautiful hotel in a great location right by the city hall pond. Room was big with a window that overlooked the pond. Floor in the bathroom was heated, which is always a treat. Breakfast was an amazing buffet. Probably eat too much because I wanted to try everything. And everyone was extremely helpful.

I loved everything!!

Loved this hotel. Room was spacious and well cleaned daily. The breakfast was definitely a highlight. Just delicious. And the location of a simply perfect!!! And the staff were all lovely and helpful.

The spa was closed when we returned at the end of a day of sight seeing. Could be open longer for tourists to enjoy after a day of sight seeing

For price we pay the room was a bit small and mattress was uncomfortable , I even ask for extra comforter to put on the top of the bed

Our room was an annex studio. It was large but not very functional. An additional trash bin would be useful for the kitchenette, blinds weren’t working easily/properly, etc. However, these were minor issues. If you have large bags, skip annex rooms; stay in the main building.

Would have liked to have breakfast included. We had three rooms, but still would have had to pay for breakfast.

The Hotel Reykjavík Saga was a wonderful home base for our family of six in Reykjavik. The property is beautiful and conveniently located; the rooms were lovely and well appointed. The staff was cordial and went out of their way to help us with ground transportation to the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Elegant and cosy hotel. Kind and attending stuff. One of the best breakfast. Restaurant is also not to be missed. Steak with smashed potatoes and chef’s cheesecake interpretation -absolutely delicious.

Very nicely designed hotel, perfectly located in the city center. Beautiful and well appointed room with very comfortable bed and large well designed bathroom. Great staff as well.

There’s no hotel parking or valet. If you’re only staying one night then exploring the ring consider getting a ride from the airport and renting your car in Reykjavík. Finding a parking space was a pain plus lugging suitcases.
