Suited us as it was on our route. Building work on lift going on. There was another lift that we used so no issues.

The room we stayed at was very outdated aesthetically, which was not reflected in the accommodation's promotional pictures in this platform. A renovation would greatly improve the experience. A bit pricey for the current room quality, compared to our other accommodations in Iceland.

Common rooms are very nice, breakfast room has great views and the breakfast itself is great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Late check-in options were very convenient after a long day driving.

Lots of construction going on across the street. The staff could be a bit more helpful. There was no one as the front desk when we checked in or checked out. Had to wait around for someone to return.

Basic hotel that has what you need for an overnight stay. Rooms were clean but a bit dated. The location is great if you plan to explore the food hall in Selfoss.

Wi-fi in a standard room was not the best one. In the second one worked well though.

We stayed in this hotel 2 times: on our way to East Iceland and then on our way back. First time we had standard room, with view on a parking lot. The second time they upgraded the room and we had renewed room with the river view. The first room was hotel classics: wooden colors, carpet and a feeling it was a bit outdated. In the second one there was a lot of light and it was renovated not long time ago. In both rooms beds were comfy. There was a TV, a mini fridge and a safe box. Included breakfast was ok to start the day.

Great hotel, friendly staff, parking included, clean and with a very good breakfast. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed a great nights sleep. We got upgraded to a bigger room upon arrival which we enjoyed as we were travelling with our son. As we only stayed one night we did not have time to try the hotel restaurant, as we already had plans to try the foodhall across the street.

The water did smell a bit - but that's expected in Iceland - especially in geothermal areas.

Great breakfast spread, awesome views, and walking distance to the Food Hall. Great spot to hang your hat during your south coast trip in Iceland.

The spa facilities had a reduced time for the weekend, so we couldn’t use them :(

When there was strong winds it was very noisy\seals on windows not 100% No shampoo and conditioner provided which I was surprised by

Great location; close to grocery stores restaurants and the main roads, Mountain View on one side Good breakfast; vege and meat options with amazing fresh danishes every day, tea and coffe and juices with oatmeal every day Free parking, clean rooms and bathroom, though the single beds seemed more narrow than normal Access to spa was £17.50 each

    Nothing.

Great stay with a fantastic view. It's overlooking Ölfusá River and the suspension bridge (Ölfusárbrú) which is very beautiful. The room is spacious with large windows, clean sheets and a nice bathroom. The staff is friendly and warm, offering wake up service in case of northern light (which didn't happen but we did see it later during our trip). The breakfast was nice but nothing out of ordinary.

Functional, clean hotel if a bit dated. Ideally located for us as we were roadtripping and were on our way back to Reykjavik. Our room was quiet and warm, overlooking the church and the lake. I highly recommend the The Old Dairy Food Hall in the town centre for dinner (its just round the corner)!

Nothing except dinner at restaurant quite expensive but easy walk to cheaper options (across the road)

Asked for room facing the river which is what we received and would be preference even on first floor which is elevated. Breakfast in the price was very good. Near new shop development with food options and supermarket. This was great as traveling fast and needed to restock. Can also request Northern lights wake up call.
