We were surprised that we were sharing the house with another couple. We had a booking for 2 rooms, and we were happy to share the bathroom and kitchen between the 4 of us, but the listing did not make it clear at all that this was shared with other people too.

The location was stunning, the kitchen well equipped and the beds comfortable. The house was very clean, the the view from the patio astoundingly beautiful.

We didn't receive any message about how to get in, where to get a key or something like that, and haven't seen the host during our stay. Other guests let us in and showed us around.

The view was exquisite! The location was right on Route 1. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and took time to show us around the farm, and answer all our questions. The house was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. A well appointed kitchen. Everything was very clean!

We had a fantastic stay at Eiði Farmhouse! The location is absolutely beautiful—surrounded by peaceful farmland with incredible views of the sea, lake, and mountains, including the iconic Kirkjufell nearby. The deluxe double room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with thoughtful touches like extra-long beds, plenty of towels, and good heating. Though the bathroom was shared, it was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The property was very quiet and relaxing, with plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. It felt like a perfect countryside retreat after a long day of exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Check-in was smooth, and the host was friendly and helpful. We only stayed for one night, but would gladly return for a longer visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay near Grundarfjörður in a cozy and scenic environment!

The location is perfect. And it is the dreaming farmhouse with great pastureland in the backyard. The room is very clean and bed is comfortable. The owner is very friendly and even showed us how to milk the cow. There is a baby lamb around us, the owner even let me to bottle feed the baby lamb. It is a great experience for our trip in Iceland. Definitely recommend this to anyone wants the great traveling experience in Iceland!

Shower drainage can be a little slow.

Hosts were very helpful. House had a great view of the surrounding landscape, including the mountains and the farm. Rooms were quite spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was huge and shower had good water pressure. You can walk out and talk to the cows. Armchair was extremely comfortable and great to enjoy the exceptional view. Kitchen was functional for us to prepare our meals.

Everything is perfect, no complaints

We could have chance to chat and have dinner (Gunna made the food taste better than the restaurant) with Gunna and her husband. Which gave us the chance to get to know Iceland culture and people. We also have chance to see they milk the cows.
