We were staying as only guests, so it was rather like a sleepover :D We got a nice breakfast only for ourselves and a whole floor. Our host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The view from the room was breathtaking!

Wasn’t very clean

Overall okay. Could use some tidying up. Didnt seem like anyone comes to clean regularly. Also, there is no breakfast - just odds and ends leftover in the fridge (potatoes, sausage, and cheese) and cereal in the cupboard. Seems more like stuff left behind by other travelers. So maybe they should remove “breakfast included” from the ad. Property is under construction so there is only one restroom for the whole place. Was doable but not really what i expected for the price.

Some electrical issues but this was soon fixed by Emmi.

Quiet place with very beautiful view from the room to the fjord. The owner (Emmi, a young guy) was very helpful and came to fix ageneral electrical problem in the G.H. Own cooking facilities and for the breakfast we had also free access to the refrigerator and took what we want.

Poor communication from host, I arrived and 1) no one was home, no notes or emails on which room was mine. 2) after two text messages and a phone call, I had no response. So I went in and picked a room. 3) breakfast was included, it was a drawer with boxes of cereal and coffee and tea. 4) the home is under construction.

The Kitchen and Common Area were dusty and dirty, especially the kitchen sink. But other than that, it was great staying here.

It’s on a great location with a lovely view of the Fjord, easy to find, spacious kitchen and common area, lovely, very comfy sleeping rooms.

Everything was perfect

very comfortable bed, all amenities and quick contact with the owner. the location of the house is in a very quiet town with a view of the mountains. the kitchen is equipped with everything and in the bathroom nothing is missing.

As there is only 1 bathroom, it may be tight if there are many guests. We suggest to include a bath mat and extra bathroom supplies in the bathroom.

Beautiful & peaceful guesthouse overlooking the gorgeous fjord! So instagram worthy. Lovely dining and sitting room to chill with a lovely view. Full kitchen facilities was available for use. Host highly recommended the nearby Reykjafjardarlaug hot spring which did not disappoint at all :-)

The host was really friendly and welcoming, the kitchen was super well equipped and everything was for the guests to be used, even food in the fridge and pantry. Too kind. But unfortunately, it was not really clean or soundproof.

I've heard that sometimes customers have trouble finding place, but using Google maps makes it easy. Also, owners have told me that they will get sign and I believe that won't be problem anymore.

Very nice accommodation in a newly renovated building. This house is owned by two young friends and thanks to that it creates a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. You will feel like at home here and you can also refresh yourself with anything from fridge, which is full to bursting. In the morning owners will prepare a delicious breakfast for you. Everything can be arranged with them. And if you have time in the evening and you want you can talk to them about anything that interests you about Iceland. Or listen to their stories while they work as fishermen. Place is still being improved by the owners, so I believe that next season it will be an even better experience.

Breakfast was ‘selfservice’ and the fridge contained sliced bread, eggs, a pack of sausages, open packs of cheese and butter and open containers of milk. There was no coffee. The kitchen and open living space was dusty not to mention inside the cupboards. The shared bathroom had a very leaky shower (we thought someone was in it when we arrived as we heard the water running). We never saw our host or anyone else apart from our fellow guests.

A beautiful place with incredible views where you feel at home. The owner is really nice and close; he helps in everything he can and gives good advice on how to travel around Iceland. Also adds points his cute cat.
