Rooms are a bit small and lack a bit of privacy. If you have a room facing inward of the complex, you have other guests passing your window all the time.

Rooms could be larger to allow for luggage, however, , they were comfortable.

Clean room, comfortable bed. View, BBQ, outdoor seating, parking, guest laundry, shared kitchen. Mingling with other guests. Hot pool down the road was excellent.

New, well designed, well equipped, and very clean. The kitchen had everything you would find in a residential kitchen. Large refrigerator, stovetop, dishwasher, plates, pots and pans, flatware, and plenty of countertop space, and tables. There were games available to use. We had fun playing Sequence! The free laundry with new machines was an added bonus as well as the cold plunge and hot tub! Our room was cozy with an Icelandic wool blanket, coffee, tea, coffee maker, hot pot, granola bars and chocolates! Owners responded quickly to messages.

It would be great to have a possibility of the late check-out (10.00 am). That would be helpful for ferry passengers.

Very clean rooms with all necessary amenities. Accommodations are in bungalows, quite small but sufficient for two persons, including bathroom and coffee maker. The Guesthouse incl. well equipped and spacious kitchenette, laundry room and hot tube. Very unproblematic self check-in. Localized close to beautiful swimming pool in Laugarnes with stunning views over Breiðafjörður.

This is a brand new (well 2 years old) facility. Great location just off the main highway with a view of the water. Full kitchen with all the tools. Nice clean unit with a beautifully appointed bathroom. Access to inside and outside dining areas. Barbecue and a hot tub. Couldn't ask for more.

The sink in the bathroom is a bit inconvenient to use.

Great location, modern room. The common area was really nice and super stacked with utilities. You can make use of the washing and drying machine for free. We didn't use the hot tub but it certainly looked great.

The room is quite small, and there’s not much space for unpacking larger suitcases, which can be inconvenient for longer stays. The bathroom sink is so tiny that it’s practically unusable for washing your face or brushing your teeth, as the toiletry shelf above it prevents you from leaning over. The toilet and bathroom area is separated from the room by a sliding glass door that’s only about 30 cm from one of the beds. The rooms have an electric kettle, which is very useful, but there isn’t one in the shared dining area.

Very quiet and modern accommodation in a peaceful location, with self check-in and check-out and free parking. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped, with a dining terrace and an outdoor hot tub — unfortunately, we didn’t have time to try the latter. There’s also a separate laundry room with a dryer, which can be useful for those who need it, though we didn’t use it ourselves.

It was a bit challenging to brush teeth and wash my face over the sink, as it is very small with a shelf above it.

Modern and beautiful studio, very clean and cosy. The shared kitchen had also all utensils we needed.

Perfectly clean. Compact; had everything we needed. The communal kitchen was well-equipped and on-site parking was perfect. Great hot water, and the local geothermal pool was a bonus!

Everything was great, no complaints at all.

The location, if you are visiting the puffins is perfect, right on the road about 75 mins slow drive on a gravel road from the cliffs - views are stunning, enjoy the journey. The hot tub and ice dip on site were spotless and so welcome after a long drive. The beds are comfy, the room has all it needs, it feels new and super clean. The communal kitchen is brilliantly equipped, as is the laundry. Huge bonus is the pool and hot pot right on the beach opposite - we went for an early swim first thing in the morning - stunning!

Strond Guesthouse was a very pleasant experience, from the size of the room, comfort of beds, laundry and kitchen facilities, and hot tub! We found the guesthouse easily from the road, and had no difficulty using the lock box. We really appreciated the laundry facilities.
