Maybe a few more frying pans, one or 2 extra, since there is a fully functioning kitchen to make use of.

Location was superb with great views from inside the cottage and outside as well, close to pretty much anywhere you want to visit or hike in particular. Very quiet and secluded if you prefer it that way. Didn't make use of the hotel as much, but the interactions we had with the owners were very good and they listened to our requests and were prompt to help.

I did find the drive to the hotel and the cottage quite challenging, be prepared for secondary gravel road and it is also located on top of a hill.

The only downside for us was the access road was very rough lava gravel--made us wish we had 4-wheel drive. And it was several miles from Stykkishholmur.

We loved the cabin/cottage, and the breakfast was great.

The kettle was not functioning properly. We were busy and unable to notify the host until we were leaving. We wish it had a microwave. Other than that it was great. I would definitely stay here. The photos showed a washing machine but there was none. Perhaps it was in another cabin.

I like the fact it was self-contained. It had a hot plate, a kettle, TV, and very fast internet, probably 100 megs down. TV had multiple streaming services. Nice little porch to sit on out of the weather. We liked it. It was very quiet, spacious, and in very pretty location. We did not eat in the restaurant but noticed it was full every night. It's a nice property.

We arrived there at night and the road didn't had any lights so we missed the road leading to the hotel. I think it should had some light and better signalling. Also the kitchen had only frying pans, it would be more useful to have regular pans.

The cottage was very spacious, cute and clean. It had an amazing view for the sunset and eventually northern lights (we weren't lucky). Really rustic decoration, it made us feel at home. The receptionist was very prestative and kind.

The cottage was very small. The beds were uncomfortable.

The view was spectacular. The cottage was close to where we needed to be to catch a ferry the next day.

Could use some hooks to hang clothing on. A little tight for more than 2 adults.

The bathroom window has no covering and we were below a carpark and one day someone was staring straight in on me. Also shower has no edge or slope so water runs everywhere. The outdoor furniture covered in animal poo. Not much floor space so limited areas to put luggage.

Cute cottage - lovely location. Great having a kitchenette. Good deck to stand on to see the Northern Lights.

Great location for seeing the aurora borealis. We rented 3 cabins. All were clean and comfortable. Coffee was provided.
