Potato Storage exceeded our expectations for comfort and convenience. It was very quiet and relaxed environment and we even got to pet a neighbor's friendly Icelandic horses. The kitchenette had every thing we needed to prepare our simple meals. It was only about a 15 minute drive to our glacier hike at the Skaftafell Nature Reserve and about 45 minute drive to Diamond Beach.

Very pleasant and quiet stay. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Klaus met us on check in and was very welcoming. Communication prior to our trip was excellent and they answered our questions about excursions in the area. The location was perfect for the iceberg lagoon, glacier hike, and hiking in the NP.

Very comfortable and pleasant studio, tastefully decorated, and with beautiful surroundings. Located very close to Skaftafell, and 40 min. from Jokularson. Very friendly owners. If I had the opportunity to visit the area again, I would definitely repeat.

Be aware there is just one restaurant in the neighbourhood (burgers, hotdogs and one or two changing dishes, other restaurants are over 100 km away.

Superb place to stay on the south coast close to the national park centre and hiking trails. It was quiet with a comfy bed. The mini kitchen was well equipped and having a few days self catering drops the cost of Iceland. It's also close to a petrol station with a good cafe for a snack

It is a very spacious, new apartment in an AMAZING location. Spotless, JUST PERFECT. Quiet and very close to Svartifoss and Diamond Beach. Regina is very kind and helpful - she walked to help us with the kitchen. Very responsive. I totally recommend this place and I wish I come back sometime soon A bit pricey, but everything is in Iceland! In any case, I believe one of the best value for money we have been here.

Great location for doing the main circle route of Iceland. The owner is lovely and very interesting having built the accommodation which is so well made, and having done an iceberg reflection book which was in the room. So warm and cosy inside with parking outside.

Beautiful apartament, super friendly owners. Nice location. Clean and good organised place. Well equipped kitchen, big bathroom, very comfortable beds. Nice living room with big table to spend time togerther. Every detail about apartament (how sth work, etc.), but also some tourist information you can find in the book which was made by owners. Zero disadvantages. The price is high but it is worth it.

Too much instructions regarding garbage sorting and doing that inside the room with differen boxes is annoying. It was also unexpected, that the room was not cleaned and arraged during day time. We were there for 2 nights

By far the best spot we have stayed while in Iceland. Idyllic scenery and beautifully finished rooms make this a place you really must stay if visiting the area. With the kitchenette, there is everything you need to prepare meals and relax. Great location as well, and the hosts are beyond friendly. Definitely recommend this spot!
