We were staying downstair and upstair were quite loud. We could hear when they up and about, which woke us up at late nights.

Good location very near the close to the city center. The owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The house was warm enough.

We are not so comfortable with the Japanese statues in the hall. It will be perfect if there is a washing machine in the unit. ;)

The only very minor thing was that the shower could have been cleaner.

The property was cosy and close to town for our one night stay. The bed was so comfortable, clean, and the pillow was perfect. We had plenty of space and it was great being able to cook breakfast in the morning.

The place is out of the center but perhaps this is more comfortable location anyway if you have your own car or a bicycle. The neighbourhood is lovely and the best restaurants seem to be near the apartment.

The dishwasher wasn't working, and the bathroom fan wasn't working either (the bathroom doesn't have a window, so without a fan there was no ventilation). We could see that the cleaners were working really hard to clean the apartment in the short time between guests. However, despite their best efforts, it wasn't spotless, and could do with a more thorough clean from time to time, including things like window cleaning and picking up litter in the garden.

A fantastic location in a nice residential neighbourhood, on the same street as several embassies. A short walk to the harbour area or the city centre. There was a playground on the same street, so this was a nice area for kids.

Nice apartment located in the basement of cottage in the center of Reykjavik. It is warm 3 room apartment with kitchen and bathroom. Very good owners, as of communication. Free parking available in premises and on the street. Good wifi

The apartment needs a deep cleaning. Lots of dust and cobwebs and overall, just didn't feel very clean. Some mold that needs to be addressed in the bathroom and the hot water has a strong sulfur smell. Coffee grounds were left in coffee machine from previous guest and hot water kettle was slimy on the bottom. We could not get the coffee machine to work after multiple attempts - just overflowed and made a mess rather than dripping into pot.

Location was great. We were able to walk downtown in minutes to explore the city. Space was sufficient for our group of 5.

Not so easy to get a car parking in the street (on Saturday)

Very close to city centre (15 minutes walking), nice surroundings. Quite a big flat, many comfortable beds.

Instructions re: parking would be good. We used the driveway assuming that was ok, but found ourselves blocked by a car in the driveway for many hours. Fortunately we didn't need the car at that time. Maybe this was the host's vehicle?

A great location - able to walk to the key sights in town past some very nice old houses and interesting neighbourhoods. Appreciated all the literature left out for us to look at.

The apartment is downs stairs and very old hence the floor boards are very noisy when you walk on them. This can be an issue if you are walking around late at night and not wanting to wake anybody else up. In the information on Booking.com it states there is parking on site. When we arrived a very large vehicle was parked in the driveway. After we spoke to the owner they moved the vehicle and we were able to park in the driveway. This is some parking on the street which is free. The blockout curtains did not work very well

The apartment has lots of charm. It has a good size kitchen and lounge area. It was about 1 klm from the centre of Reykjavik in a very narrow 1 way street. Very quiet area.

The doors were a bit noisy when opening and the room window couldn’t be open wide to get fresh air.

Lovely flat, very quiet and peaceful with a beautiful garden and adorable cats. A perfect little stay to discover the capital.

We could not get the TV to work but that was not a great problem.

First of all the host permitted us to access the property early - at 2pm rather than at 4pm. The property was very large and very comfortable and it is in a great location with a short walk to the harbour and also a short walk to all the bars and restaurants and shops.
