Comfortable cottage within 2 minutes of a grocery store, coffee shops and restaurants and very close to Vik sightseeing. It was a great home base for exploring the area!

There is a camping and rv space right next to it. The setting of the cottages doesn't look nearly as good as the photos in my opinion.

Inability to use app to check in, confirmed by Hotel staff. Check in code failed to work, needed resetting. Wifi not functioning for 2 hours, requiring 2 modems resetting. No coffee/tea mugs supplied although a kettle and tea and coffee sachets were provided.

Location to town. Comfortable beds. Good linen and towels. Extremely helpful front office staff who helped when apps, electronics and wifi were not functioning. Good views to the sea and bird roosting cliffs behind building.

Not as rural as I expected. A lot has been built up around the cottages since tithe pictures on the website were taken. Beds not super comfortable but pillows were good.

Quiet room close to Krónan supermarket/Ice wear store and food cafes. Walkable to black sand beach. Easy communication with property during the days leading up to our check in. The app download/ check in link was a bit difficult due to my SIM card number being different but they were helpful.

The windows had blinds, one of which was too small for the window, so light at night (midnight sun) could be an issue

Cosy, if small. All facilities there- shower, fridge, kettle with tea and coffee- we bought a pint of milk at the supermarket. TV had some UK channels- a rarity!! Bed very comfortable, and the best pillows I've had on my trip around Iceland . Check in and out was digital- very efficient, entry to cottage via pin code.

Parking is a short walk away, the rooms were also small and felt quite cheap. The fridge was loud and overall limited amenities (i.e. no spoon provided)

The cabins are well located in the heart of Vik. The beds were comfortable and the area peaceful and quiet. Adequate for a one night stay

Pre checking took us a very long time, next time please just let us now we can got to the big Vik hotel next door 😤.- The door is small and water keeps flowing out it flooded our restroom.😅.

Unfortunately we had travelled from another location and had brought along our remaining groceries from the previous stay, these had to be binned as no fridge could be found within the cottage. Also note that the cottage is divided into two dwellings, we were able to hear our neighbours quite frequently.

This cottage was in a great location, close enough to access the main street of Vik and just far enough away to be surropunded by the local wildlife.

Given the price, it didn’t meet our expectations. The cottage is not private; it is divided in two separate medium sized rooms booked to separate people. The bathroom is really small, and the shower doesn’t even have a space per se (it’s one of those movable wall showers). It doesn’t have any special amenities, just a bed, a small desk, and the bathroom. From the window you can see the supermarket and shop, not an exclusively natural view (seemed like that from the pictures).

The cottages are clean and nicely furnished, in a spot that’s great to see the night sky.

These cottages were great value for money. They are centrally situated next to the Hotel where you can have breakfast or dinner. The rooms were comfortable warm and the L'Occitane toiletries were a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing location, we lucked out with the Northern Lights! The cottages are small, but they are walkable to almost anything you'd like to do in Vík.
