“The house is authentic and charming and the location is superb, in a lovely town with a great playground directly across the road.The pool and pool area was very nice. We had three separate apartments which was ideal for our three families who wanted to be together but have some level of privacy too. The apartments were spacious. Two of them had a washing machines and a clothes horse. Fabio the owner was really nice friendly and helpful with local advice and he responded immediately to any issues we had. On arrival each apartment had lots of snacks and a home made cake which was a fabulous touch.”

The view from the balcony is picture postcard perfect. The staff are great, and very engaged in getting it right.
The breeze from the huge lake to the south combined with good old fashioned shutters and substantial old stone construction remove the need for air conditioning. After several nights in a tent and days riding a motorcycle through 30-35 deg heat I was worried but needlessly so. Air conditioning is actually a horrible modern way of dealing with heat now I think about it. It’s not good for you or the environment.
