Whilst this was not a problem generally. The entry to the property was in an area with a lively and colorful population.

The property had been very well renovated by the owner Barbara and she was justifiable proud of the way she had upgraded it The equipment and supplies provided were excellent. The property was in the old town area. The property was fairly easy walking from many of the interesting sights in this rather edgy port city.

We loved the property.

Beautifully renovated to the highest standard, this apartment is outstanding value. Centrally located with easy access to all major attractions, restaurants and subway. Quiet area and secure building. Fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons. Big bathroom. Comfortable bed. It’s pleasing to find a property that actually lives up to, and exceeds the online photos and hype. Barbara and Tiziano could not be more helpful. Our first 10/10. (based on the seven apartments we’ve stayed in, in Europe over the past eight weeks.)

Casetta is an amazing stay!!! You feel at home. A cozy house that has Everything and I mean it! Barbara the host is amazing she has so many tips and advice about Genova. I came here with my kids aged 5 and 7 and they loved this little home. I felt cuddled. I loved the kitchen set up, I even took a picture as an inspiration for my own home. This is a functional home. Clean. Tiny but mighty. The location is strategically excellent, just the cherry on top. I loved staying here and I will recommend this place to anyone who wants to come to Genova. The Aquarium and port is a 4 min walk, as well.

2 minutes from the metro station "Darsena" you are instantly in the most atmospheric part of Genova. There is nothing more to say about the apartment. I swear the hosts must live there when it is not let out. Immaculately clean, almost brand new, every thing you need is here. Location, everything is either a short walk or Metro stop away. Plenty of grocery stores and good restaurants less than 2 blocks away. The hosts Barbara and Tiziano are remarkably friendly and supportive. You feel you have been friends forever. Like most of the places in this area, it is 1 floor above the street but Tiziano is there to meet you and help with your bags. I have no hesitation in giving our stay 5 stars and would stay here again any time.

The apartment looked like recently refurbished and it was one of the best I've ever stayed in. It's located 15' walking from the main train station and a few minutes walking from the port. The district is quiet, full of narrow streets and bars for breakfast. Great communication with the owners before our arrival. 100% recommended.

We couldn’t have had a better stay. I had read the excellent reviews and everything is true. The apartment is absolutely wonderful, cosy and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need and more. In addition both Barbara and her husbands were so lovely, going out of their way to help and accomodate us. We stayed with our two year old daughter and the extra touches that were made for her, were just amazing. Thank you again Barbara for the most wonderful stay.

The host Barbara was very nice and helpful, she prepared Italian food for our coming, and she also gave a lot of information about the sightseeing visit, restaurants and the transport. The location was great, you can reach most sightseeing by walking 10 or 15 or 20 minutes. The apartment had everything we need to stay. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. A lot of restaurants and shops are around the apartment.

The street can be a little noisy in the evening from people passing by but this didn't affect us thankfully.

Barbara was an excellent host and catered for everything we needed. The Apartment is spotless and in a central location, 10-15 minutes walk to the train station, 5 minutes to the harbour and local bakery's, cafes etc literally a stone's throw away from the building. We really enjoyed our stay and can't thank you enough!

The only comment I would make is that it has a double bed and we prefer either a queen or king bed

It had everything, and I mean everything that you could wish for was provided, including a fully functioning and equipped kitchen, which was impressive. The other reason I would recommend you stay here is the location in the Old Town. It is right in the heart of the city everything was close. We highly recommend that you give this place a go. The location was great, in the center, close to all important sights. The apartment was very clean and spacious, fully equiped and very modern. The host waited for us with a lot of little and homey surprises. I unfortunately had an unpleasant event in Genoa that thankfully got resolved fast. The host was helpful in offering us support and assistance. I could not have asked for more. I am genuinely grateful.

Barbara and her husband were very lovely and met us at the apartment! Our train to Genova was delayed by 2 hours and they were very kind and understanding! Before arriving to Genova, Barbara sent me lots of places to see and restaurant recommendations! It was so nice to have a list of good restaurants to go to without doing our own research! The apartment was amazing! The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was so big! The kitchen was great and it was nice to have a dining table to sit at! Barbara answered all of our questions and checked on us during the stay! The best host we have had on bookings.com in our 3 month trip around Europe! Thank you so much!

The area in which the flat is located is in the old town, where streets are very narrow and it‘s quite dark. I didnt feel that comfortable especially in the evening. But that may be due to my own fears. According to Barbara the area is safe.

The appartment was perfect for our stay. It was extremely good equipped and a place to feel comfortable in. Barbara was the greatest Host I got to know so far. She was highly welcoming, sent us great tips in advance and even bought us Foccachia as she thought we might be hungry after arriving by night train. Which was true. That kind gesture blew our mind.
