Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room could benefit from tea/coffee making facilities, but this did not take away from our overall positive experience in the hotel.
Hotel very comfortable. Good choices for breakfast You can walk into central rome in 40minutes from this hotel. Close to the metro system.

It was nice however the bed was quite solid. We were glad to only be staying one night. Our backs are not as forgiving as they used to be.
The staff was very helpful. It was quite close to some great restaurants.

The only bad thing about the room is that it is not that soundproof, we could hear people laughing and we even woke up with the alarm that went off in the other apartment and the owner didn't turned it off. So expect something like this when you go.
Staff were really nice and respectful, always willing to help. Room space and comfort is amazing, breakfast also really really good. Balcony was small but perfect for a couple to chill outside before exploring the city. Amazing location.

Our room was VERY hot. I talked to them at the desk and they turned the heat off but there was no way to cool it down. Temperature outside was 70 F (21 C). We kept our windows open wide all day long but we couldn't keep them wide during the night because of all the street noise. When we woke up it was 81 F (27 C) degrees in the room (with the 2 windows tilted in). We were with 3 other couples that were not in mini-suites and they said they were fine so it must just be something with this room. There is NO WAY I would want to be in this room in the middle of summer. It would be a sauna there.
Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, shower was great. We were in a Mini-suite (room 205). Staff were very friendly and helpful (except unable to help with the temperature in the room) and a great breakfast!

Very convenient for arriving from the airport - train to Ostiense and 5 min walk to the hotel. Quiet except for being woken up by the people upstairs at midnight. Good breakfast in a nice room. Pizza place next door was great.

I didn’t like the breakfast it was the same food every day. The eggs were too soggy, and again it was the same scrambled eggs every day.
Overall the hotel facility was fine. The lobby area could use a little sprucing up.

The room is quite isolated from noise, perhaps i'm a little bit too sensitive with noise in the corridor which woke me up once in the morning.
All staff we met are very kind, the room is very clean and comfortable. There are many choices for the breakfast (the pancake machine is vey interesting and sophistic). Many good restaurants are nearby and a subway station is not far (around 7 min by foot) which can easily lead me to the downtown.

The only thing that on a double bed there were to mattresses connected.

The sound insolation was not so good. Every morning I could hear neighbours flashing their toilet at 6 or 7 am. :-( Mattresses are too hard, too. So if you are aiming at having a good sleep - it will not be the case.
Very stylish and creative venue. Great breakfast. Very close to the train station. If you don;t need any main tourist attractions, it is convenience. Otherwise, it is about 20 mins walk to Coliseum and Forum.

The fan in our bathroom did not work, someone has a peculiar idea of decoration the strange shaped light covers and hanging bits are most peculiar.

The hotel was very clean with good- sized rooms. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It is situated a little away from the main attractions of Rome, but these are easily reachable by using the metro.

Room sound proof not good, can hear next rooms' people speaking.
Location, about 10 minutes' walk from nearby Metro station, good pizza & pasta restaurant, ice cream shop just across the street, provide take away breakfast for early check-out.

We liked the location not only as it was walking distance to Ostiense train station. Granted, it is not in the center, but it is Close to a subway station and the accommodations were modern, efficient and quite pleasant. Breakfast was great too.

The hotel doesn’t have parking place, neither fitness room, or kitchen. Every thing is extra and outside the hotel. When we booked this hotel they told us that parking and the fitness center were available. Not it is not included and its outside their facilities. This is a very low strategy.

It’s a pity that a four star hotel doesn’t offer an iron, at least one! I had to rush and look for ironing service outside.
The hotel was close to the place where we had a conference, so the location for us was ok. The breakfast was quite good.
