BelgiumWe came from an recently renovated hotel and the first moments we needed to adapt. The look and feel of the reception and rooms is outdated. There is much chromé, 80's materials and old styled furniture. Also the bathroom (although very clean!) was really outdated. E.g. our room had only 2 wall chargers and it was full of mirrors. It's odd. But once you can see through the 80's vibe on the inside you can embrace the beauty of the outdoors and the atmosphere you will have a good time.
I really liked the outdoors zone of the hotel. The pool is amazing. The open construction is charming. It was really an island vibe on mainland. I also liked the kind staff members. They were very friendly. The location is perfect for visiting Palermo and céfalu. An update of the indoors would make it contemporary and perfect.

RomaniaAs far as my experience from august 2023 goes, WIFI is spotty at best, utterly broken most of the time. And it's wifi-6 exclusively, incompatible with older devices - had to use my new phone as a wifi bridge, and it would only lock on if kept in the bathroom. I've reported the issue to the staff, to no avail. If you need a good, stable and fast connection for business use, well, none to speak of during my stay.
The hotel and premises are absolutely astounding, dare I say surreal - clearly a lot of effort has gone into building something remarkable. There are flowering plants everywhere, in front of the balconies and even on top of the buildings. And palm trees all over. And an enormous swimming pool with artificial "islands". The beach is decent, although somewhat rocky. Ample parking space. Music in the evening, but good stuff and not too loud.

GermanyThe indifference of the staff. I rested for 5 days. For 3 days I could not repair a broken shower. A hotel with a broken shower cannot cost 380 euros per day. From 21.00 to 23.30, music plays very loudly. It is impossible to hide from it anywhere. The Internet was working very badly.
I was in this hotel 10 years ago. I decided to come back, but.... The best things in this hotel are the beach and the sea.

GermanyThe food constitutes a complete contrast to the resort's other pleasant amenities that we enjoyed. We were more than disappointed to experience the same breakfast buffet every day, which was very modest for a 4-star hotel. The selection was dominated by sweet pastries like three kinds of croissants (plain, with creme and chocolate filling) as well as cakes, for instance. Unfortunately, besides toast, white bread, fried or boiled eggs, and two kinds of ham and cheese, there was not much else to choose from. Fresh fruits in the morning were a rare exemption from the rule which was... canned fruits. Dinner, although giving guests more variety, was very repetitive each day during our stay. We were expecting a changing buffet menu every other day. However, the changes which we noticed were mainly limited to the pesto being served with spaghetti one or two other types of salads, one additional cake or the kind of meat being fried in front of the guest at the buffet. The buffet creates the initial impression of being generous with a large selection of different dishes but we regretted seeing that this effect was mainly produced by placing the same dishes across a wider area. Cocktails at the bar were very inconsistent in taste and alcohol content. It was absolutely normal to expect that ordering the same drink even during the same evening or day would result in getting drinks of different quality. Lunch does not deviate from dinner's quality and we would not recommend it, either. If you stick with the half-board option ordering food from somewhere else is limited due to the resort's location apart from trying the menu in hotels in the neighbourhood. The "mini-market" at the resort offers only a few chocolate bars and crisps. At the end of our stay, we were very displeased with catering which for a place that is designed to make you stay on its amenities, has prevented us from finding the joy that we were looking forward to upon booking our...
When you enter the resort you get the impression of being on a tropical island. Its well-maintained gardens which are scattered with countless palms, banana trees and blooming bushes are very inviting and offer a retreat from everyday trouble. The pool area is in the heart of the resort. Approximately half of it is comfortably shallow and thus is perfect for having a great time with your children. The staff is happy to assist you any time and waiters react and approach you very quickly in the restaurant and bar keeping waiting times to an absolute minimum.
