Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location of hotel, ease of finding this location was great! Size of room and access was very easy. Central to transportation and lots of options for dining and shopping! Value for the $$ was great!

Room was warm so had windows open. Nice breeze however very noisy. Once windows were shut room was very quiet. Also had elevator but our room was on the floor between elevator stops. Only about 7-8 steps down but hard for us. The girl who checked us in the first day helped tremendously by carrying our luggage! She was a lifesaver.
Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were decent.

If you have a street facing room, you won't get a lot of quiet time in the room. The rooms are cleaned once in 2-3 days. The room itself is very small and very basic.
It's a mere walking distance from the Vatican and Castle Sant'Angelo.

If you want to turn on the AC you have to pay 10 EUR extra per day. You cannot eat in the rooms but in the terrace, the street where the hotel is located is very noisy (ambulance, cars, garbage trucks, etc)
The staff whas very friendly and helpful. They have a terrace upstairs if you want to relax. It is close to good restaurants.

the beds arent very comfortable, the furniture is pretty old, they only gave 1 small shampoo and shower gel for 2 people and we had to ask for more a couple of times

The walls are quite thin and Rome is a night time city but I also have sensitive hearing so always have earplugs with me, so I would recommend.
Great location, basic but clean. Had everything we needed, fresh clean sheets and towels and a nice big shower that was easy to work

We had twin beds in the room. One of then was in very bad conditions, it was uncomfortable to sleep in. Room was extremely tiny

No air-con and it was very hot, the night before we stayed in a cheaper hotel which was very modern, included other amenities like kettle and food cookies etc and had great air-con, there are better options out there
Great location very close to the vatican city and sant dangelo The receptionist was absolutely a delight, she went above and beyond for us, very kind, loads of recommendationms and beyond friendly.

The hotel is in the center of Rome value for money cause you dont expect too much is 2 star hotel.The receptionist was very friendly helped us and gave us information in every question we had!Also weird for a touristic place as Rome but Receptionist she was the only person that we talked and knew to speak English properly kinda funny :)

Unfortunately the hotel does not offer a taxi service to the termini, only to airport. As a result we were directed to where we could catch a taxi, near the Vatican. At this location my backpack was stolen while we were in the safety of a cafe. So this has left a disappointing memory.
