Having to leave..

Amazing!! Very clean and comfortable room with plenty of room for us and our luggage and good sized bathroom. Secure private parking close by if travelling by car like we did. Negotiable parking directly in front of the accommodation to unload/load luggage. Train station is only a 1 minute walk away to transport you to Riomaggiore and further north. And there is a smorgasbord of local cuisine to choose from in the Love walk between the property and marina. Luca will give some recommendations of restaurants and even some potential discounts. Luca made our arrival, stay, departure and everything in between something we will cherish for life. He shared his knowledge, tips and recommendations to make our 3 night stay in Le Spezia, and trek through Cinque Terre better than we could have ever imagined. If you are looking for somewhere close to Cinque Terre, in a beautiful Ligurian town, with amazingly kind and welcoming hosts. Look no further!! Don’t stay anywhere else!!! Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. Next time we will stay longer.

Duration of the stay was too short. Next time we will have to stay at Lunamar much longer to discover all the beauties around.

Pleasant welcome by Luca, the owner. He advised us about the restaurants for dinner (favorite places visited by local people), walking to nice places, and explained us al the details regarding the planned family trip to Cinque Terre. Excellent accommodation, directly in the center of the town, very close to the main railway station, but we didn't hear any trains. Parking was organized for us in the nearby parking house. We really enjoyed our stay at La Spezia and will come again. Bonus info: La Spezia was out last accommodation during our family tour around the Italy. We stayed in multiple hotels and apartments, but the quality of the mattress at Lunamar was the best!

3 minutes to La Spezia Centrale train station. Very friendly host! Room is clean with balcony, fridge. Air conditioner is working fine and silently, not making my throat dry or noisy like the cheap ones. Very bright room full of sunchine. You won't regret choosing here.

Long stairs to the second floor but no lift.

The location of the property is at the very center of La Spezia, two minutes walk to the train station. The family room was quite spacious. Every room has its own TV, my kid loved it very much. The double bed was super comfy. The owner Luca was very nice and friendly. He told us everything we needed to know for the Cinque Terra as we went there in the late afternoon just had a short visit there. The restaurant he recommended was great, but better have a reservation first, or you will have quite a long time waiting.

Great spot next to the train station and the Main Street with lots of restaurants, staff were very helpful and kind and let me put my bags in the room before they were cleaned as the check in is great and early at 10am, good if you want to explore the day you arrive

Based on the description, we expected free parking which was not the case. Of course Luca gave us a great tip on how to get inexpensive parking in La Spezzia..but still the first impression was more on the negative side.

This is a nice clean place, with basic facilities, but a great location to explore La Spezzia and Cinque Terre and very friendly staff. Best thing about the property is the location, as it is 5 mins from the train station which is your main point of entrance to Cinque Terre. It is also close to the pedestrian area of the town, (5mins to the other direction), close to supermarkets etc. So, location is a big plus. Second best thing about the property is the helpful staff. Luca and the rest of the team are very nice, providing advice, suggestions...and even chocolate to our little one who got sick for half a day. Really nice people. The rest is pretty basic and nothing exceptional but we enjoyed our time there and we left with positive feelings.

I 100% recommend this accommodation especially if you plan to visit cinque terre, as it's only a couple of minutes from the train station, which made it very convenient! Luca is great! warm and welcoming, ready to help with everything you need. The room was spotless clean and i had the best shower of our entire trip!
