A little more storage in the room but it wasn't a big problem.

Lucia was very friendly and helpful and picked us up from the train station. Very nice little communal kitchen where you could make coffee. Breakfast in the nearby cafe where all the locals got together. Convenient location with only a 10 mile walk into the old city.

It was a very cold week - nobody's fault

We have styaed in four or five different places in Lucca, and this was far and away the best. Excellent location 10 minutes from the old city, accommodation charming with excellent rooms, including separate guest cooking facility. The proprietor, Signora Lucia, was a model of kindness and consideration. Absolutely top marks!

We have stayed at Stella before. The owner is always gracious and helpful. Communicating with her is easy both via the internet and by phone. Breakfast is served at the Stella restaurant a one minute walk from the hotel. Always good. You can have coffee and several snacks with the hotel ticket you are given at check-in. The room is clean. Bathroom spacious and clean. You are a 10 minute walk from the historic center of Lucca. Nice place!!!!

The b and b is within walking distance of the historical center, but is outside the walls, about 10 minutes walk away. My room was a little noisy in the morning since they apparently start the baking next door quite early.

The staff was accommodating and the room was clean. Parking was on site. The wi-fi was free and connections was good. Breakfast was provided at the pastry store next door which had a wide variety of amazing pastries....a very dangerous place...lol.

The property is a great little B&B, very close to the old city center (5min walk) at really affordable price. It also has it's own parking places free of charge. Wifi works good. The breakfast included in the price is self service breakfast in the pastry next door. You get 4 EUR per person to spend there, which is about enough for a normal breakfast, any amount above that you need to settle yourself at the pastry.

Because I had my folding bike with me, the distance to the historical town was no problem at all. If you're on foot it might be a bit long, especially after dark.

I liked the beautifully decorated room. The wifi was strong. The reception is only staffed during certain hours, I like the privacy this gives you. The lady was very welcoming and friendly and explained things I wanted to know about the town and such, and gave some suggestions. For breakfast you get a €4 voucher for the cafe Stella next door (not part of the hotel). This is a fun, typically Italian cafe, very bustling, where you can order whatever you like. For €4 you can have a nice sandwich and 1 or 2 coffees for example, anything more you ordered you pay yourself. This voucher also allows you to have breakfast any time of the day: perfect for me as a late riser.

An easy 10 minute walk to the historic center of Lucca. It was in a quiet location. The cafe next door is really nice with some excellent pastries and other goodies. The voucher that the hotel gives you is more than adequate for breakfast. In fact, we were given two small sandwiches to take away!
