Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. It’s really gorgeous hidden place close to Mantua with a lot of potential! I most of all appreciated how everything has been arranged so lovely!

Everything is top notch :)
The location was superb, outside of the city but still super close. The host was really kind and suggested a good restaurant for us. We had a dog with us and she was really enjoying the open space and the huge yard. Suoper clean and very accomodating.

Check-in was a bit fraught because there was no-one on site (but soon resolved by phoning). A video with instructions had been sent via email that morning, but I didn't receive it while travelling.
Decent accommodation with lots of grassy areas around the site and plenty parking. Good breakfast and pleasant owners. Nothing nearby, but only a short drive into Mantova, where parking outside the walls was easy.

Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Appreciated the friendly service, clean and air conditioned room and beautiful buffet style breakfast. Highly recommend for other bike packers as right on a main cycleway.

Perfect place to stay overnight if you are visiting Mantova for weekend. Located in a quiet countryside, short car drive from the city centre. The hosts gave us many different tips regarding where to eat, park, what to visit. On top of that, this place implements environmentally friendly approach to business, which I personally very appreciated. Highly recommend!

The room was a little cold and the A/C heating did not work.
We used the property just for an overnight sleep. Came already when was dark. It's has a nice sourrouding with lots of green and you really feel as you are on a farm, Good breakfast with home made pastries. Easy access with car to Mantova and good trattoria tips from the owners.

We were on foot so getting there from the train station was quite time-consuming. However, it is possible to rent bikes at the property which is super convenient!
Really beautiful place, surrounded by peaceful nature. The staff is very friendly. The food is local and delicious.

No dinner facilities on site, but a very good restaurant/pizzeria about 15 minutes walk/5 minutes bike away.
A little paradise! Very nice environment, great and very helpful staff. Really recommended! Nice breakfast and lunch.

Enriched breakfast very nice fresh coffee, always with a smile. The concept of so called agroturismus accommodation is something you should try. Nothing extreme but worths a visit. Nice natural surroundings excellent bike or walking pathways.

Great accomodation with ecceptionally friendly patrons. Very close to the natural reserve, but also to the centre of Mantova, best place for small children (you can easily operate with the stroller, there is lot of space to discover for them as well). Also fantastic place to stay for cyclists, beautiful cycling paths just behind the corner. Tranquility of old monastery transformed in time. Very grateful for a joyful experience.

Slight fertiliser smell which is unavoidable seeing that it's a working farm. And there are many pig farms around. The triple sharing is very tight. For 3 adults
Lovely breakfast with cooked eggs. The bike rental was the reason we stayed there and it did not disappoint. Enjoyed the cycling path very much. Families with kids and dogs will enjoy the ground.
