How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Verified reviewWas on a multi-day cycling holiday in the Dolomites, and I wanted a place to stay outside the chaos of Cortina town centre. This fattoria was amazing, the host very kind and welcoming, and showed me a range of maps of the local area for hiking, cycling, etc. The room was lovely and fresh, it was amazing how it stayed so cool indoors while it was mid-30C outside! Plenty of hot water in the shower, and the room was cleaned every day too with the curtains drawn to stop it getting too warm. There was plenty on offer for breakfast, and the breakfast time was plenty early to avoid the heat and traffic later in the day. The location is lovely and quiet, and the views are without question stunning! The town centre wasn't too far to walk either. I would love to stay here again in the future!
thanks, see you next time

Verified reviewThe place was super clean, we had the room cleaned every day. The breakfast was nice, not too sophisticated, but I got everything what I needed. Super nice was that even though the breakfast was served from 8am, you could easily grab food even earlier (before 7). This was perfect, if you plan to start the day very early. The area is very nice and calm.
A bit far, It’s 25 min walk to the center, but that wasn’t a big problem. We drove 5 min and always found a parking spot.
thank you

Verified reviewI like my room that I shared with other female friend. Room was spacious, bed comfortable and clean. Breakfast self service and we could use kitchen facilities ( microwave, coffee machine, fridge ) during our stay. Francesco and Housekeeper were polide.
The location was up hill from City Center, so if people don’t have a car, Options are walk 50 minutes or get there by taxi ( is not cheaper and starting from €15 euros). During my stay, I’ve experienced an unpleasant situation of the owner of the property, not knocking on my room and got inside while I was changing clothes. My other female friend that I shared the room was present on that moment. Never in my life, this happened in any accommodation I’ve been in any where in world I’ve visited. We always knock the door and we always wait for response before entering. If the owner, was looking for the housekeeper, should contact her via phone first. Adding to that, I didn’t receive a apology for this . So, my recommendation is for people to keep doors locked when you inside you room.
good morning, I'm sorry for the inconvenience

Verified reviewThe Degasper family are very friendly and great hosts, who do a great job running a lovely farmhouse in a tremendous location! Our room had an amazing view of the three peaks of the Tofana mountain range, the Five Towers and other mountains. You can see Monte Cristallo from the grounds as well. Our room was perfect and cleaned everyday by Franca. Breakfast was good and the hot drinks machine was always operational. There was a fridge freezer to store food and a microwave to use as well. Franchesco pulled up and gave us a lift one day when hiking back, and offered to take us into Cortina the day we left, but we chose to enjoy the beautiful walk down to Cortina instead, once again. This is now our favourite place in the Alps, beating Chamonix Mont Blanc in France, Grindelwald, Lutterbrunnen and Zermatt in Switzerland, and Innsbruck in Austria. We were truly blown away by this part of the Dolomities and we couldn't have asked for better hosts in Giorgio, Franchesco, Franca and the rest of the team. Do not hesitate to stay here! You'll be blown away by The Dolomites and made to feel at home by the Degasper family!
thank you

Verified reviewThe staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, they really went above ans beyond to ensure we had the best time. Our room was tidied up daily and the facilities were very comfortable. The location was excellent with ample parking and very close to the main town (Cortina D’Ampezzo). We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.
thank you

Verified reviewThe rooms were very cosy felt homey and comfortable while we were in cortina. Good location near the hikes and not in city centre where it is too busy and noisy. Lots of parking space and animals are kept far back the farm so there is no smell at all. A quaint frontyard with benches to relax and enjoy some sun. Breakfast always well stocked free use of microwave and fridge. Wonderful stay. Friendly owners.
thank you

Verified reviewVery beautiful, cozy and comfortable place to stay at! The house has its own character that is completely in tune with the surroundings. It is far from the main road of Cortina d'Ampezzo, so it is quiet place with only nature sounds around. The views are amazing and the forest is just behind the house with trekking paths starting at the doorstep. The hosts are super nice and helpful as well!
The walls between the rooms are thin, so you can hear the people from neighboring rooms, but it isn't something that bothered us much.

Verified reviewSuch a great place, such a pretty location and lovely staff.
YOU NEED A CAR. It’s a 40 minute walk from town. Unless you’re fine paying $20 euro for a taxi. Also no buses to hikes so you’ll need a car for that as well. That was the only issue.
Grazie

Verified reviewPeaceful location. Jaw dropping views. Warm and clean. Good value for money. Happy with the use of refrigerator to store our groceries for hikes. Pleasant interactions with staff/owners.
Nothing in particular, traditional style of chalet meant our room had a small window but it couldn’t be helped.

Verified reviewThis agriturismo place is very nice with amazing views of the dolomites from its grounds. Breakfast is plentiful if somewhat basic but with good coffee and tea selection . Our room was very spacy with excellent shower and tons of storage space. The owner was friendly
Our room had hardly any view and very badly lit. Even though we stayed for a whole week and guests changed the owner would not change our room to one with a view. We had a car but for those without a car - it is a considerable walk to the city and up hill back to the hotel
good morning, unfortunately I couldn't change your room because we were fully booke

Verified reviewIt truly is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Cortina. I loved how quiet it get at night. Mind you I didn’t have a car so I was walking up and down to the city every day and that is why I believe my resting heart rate is now 53. 😂 family was so friendly and welcoming, and I loved my room. I just really felt like I was in an alpine hut far up on the mountain. The trail to the mountain is literally right outside their door and I hiked alone for nearly 2 1/2 hours before I saw anyone. They also gave me a ride down the hill to the bus, which I thought was really sweet.
Not much just next time I know I’m probably going get a car to go throughout the whole door of my region. Would stay there again definitely!
thank you, we look forward to seeing you for your next holiday
