Unable to use pool until May. Would recommend a car for an extended stay. Local towns available to walk to in about 30 minutes or an hour.

Very friendly staff, large double room with sitting area. Additional activities such as tours and horse riding were fantastic. Breakfast and food overall found not be faulted, good local options. Good contact from the reception prior to arrival to arrange transfer.

Since we had a big group of 8 people, two people shared a room in the main house and six of us including 4 children took one of the larger apartments/guesthouses which are separate from the main house. The guesthouse is a short walk/drive away from the main house and is actually a type of a duplex with one main entrance and shared walls. On our second night sleeping there, at about 7 or 8 PM, an extremely LOUD and obnoxious drunken group took over the other half of our duplex. The shared walls are very thin (it sounds like you are in the same house) and this group went on partying for the next five to six hours until 2:30 AM. It was extremely annoying as the shared wall was with the room where four kids were trying to sleep and we could hear every single thing. One of the drunk neighbors started singing in a very creepy low voice for a long time in the middle of the night (lol) and scared the kids since it literally sounded like it was in the same room. It was impossible to sleep and I would say ruined our stay and a part of our trip since we were not able to sleep that night and as such, were not able to enjoy our full day of sight seeing in Florence the following day / were tired for the short remainder of our trip to Italy. It was maddening.

This property is incredibly beautiful and charming. Staying here was the highlight of our trip to Italy, we wish we could have stayed longer. The views are amazing, the main house / dining room are also beautiful. We traveled in winter and were not able to do some of the activities that we would have liked such as truffle hunting or swimming but we did the olive oil tour and the guide was excellent! The breakfast was amazing featuring the beautiful local products, not to be missed. Breakfast is included if staying in the main house and not included if staying in one of the larger apartments. We enjoyed one dinner with our group of eight and had the dining room to ourself with a blazing fire. The highlight of the meal by far was the Florentine steak and potatoes. The staff and reception were wonderful and very accommodating. Communication before our arrival was excellent. When we didn't order dessert at our dinner, they brought out complimentary regional cookies. When we had an early departure time, they sent us breakfast to go in paper bags. They gave us information about the best way to take a day trip to Florence. (Where to park/ public transport, etc.) We did try the horseback riding which is based at a stable off of the property (10 minutes drive away or so) and we enjoyed that as well.

Lunch time was a bit of a struggle, the food was limited and nowhere to go.

Lovely stay in the middle of the Tuscany hills. The views, the pool area, the rooms and overall comfort were great. And fabulous breakfasts!

When you book, you are not informed that you are a bit far from the main villa/restaurant/pool, so if you don’t have car it can be challenging to walk back and forth

Absolutely love the property, the gorgeous pool and stunning views The deli is super nice and you can buy the wine that is produced in their estate from there, you can also get a picnic basket and watch sunset Tuscan sunset was the most beautiful sunset we have ever seen

The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't book a longer stay here. 🙃

The location is absolutely gorgeous. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They helped us get our luggage to the guest house where we were staying. We spent time by the pool had a delicious lunch walked around the grounds and then had a amazing dinner. I wish we had booked more nights. This is a place I would definitely visit again. We also had a good breakfast the next morning.

Everything was perfect

My wife and I absolutely loved everything about this property ( amenities, food, property and staff) Special thanks to Faye (owner of this beautiful property) who is so humble and she went above and beyond to help us to design our itinerary for 1 and half days in Florence She not only shared the best places to visit and eat but also helped us to plan the transport so we can avoid any delays. Last but not least big thank you to the amazing staff. We had some last minute request and they were super flexible and helpful. They are really the Gems. Keep up the great work team! Definitely recommend this property - 5 stars

Although the resort is family centric, there were no small portions for children or a children's menu at the pool or the restaurant.

The location was amazing, and the activities and food were superb! Highly recommend the truffle hunting!!

I think like lots of others we didn’t like the fact that the apartments are so separate from the actual Casanova…. That said it is so beautiful that we really didn’t care that much and we would definitely go back

Charging for electric car didn’t work. Not enough sun beds with shade for all guests. Some of the staff could have been more service minded.

Didn't realize the apartment was on a main road. By the property map, it appeared all one facility. Fridge was a little loud, but not horrible. Basics like salt and pepper would have been nice, but were able to find some at the Bodega.

Beautiful location in Tuscany. Amenities were fabulous including the pool. Nice having the Bodega near property for essentials (bread & morning pastries). Also could pop in for coffee.

the recreation facilities could have been better especially was told about horse riding session for kids but they couldnt arrange it .Restaurant menu should have been better especially should have tomato based and pesto sauces for pasta
