Very hard to find staff when you needed them. Pointed out to us on arrival that there was a barbecue available for our use however there was no means of making fire or any wood. Outdoor seating areas are very out dated.

Located in a magnificent region. Great restaurant up the road. Fantastic views over the valley.

Kitchen very basic. No information provided on facilities or local services. Difficult to find!

Large, very clean, very quiet, lots of hot water. Staff pleasant.

Rather a suggestion than a note of criticism: for such a big apartment some extra stuff could have been added to the kitchen. Dishwasher is missing

Fantastic old house, excellent decoration and ambiance, nice furniture, apartment is very well planned and spacious. Private small garden. Great degustation of Supertuscan wines (very high grade and quality), visit to a cellar, pleasant discounts. Owners and staff are helpful and very, very nice. Great experience.

Only minor rants: - Yes, there are a few ants in the rooms. - The kitchen could have a few more supplies: there is no salt, pepper or sugar, no lighter or matches for the (charcoal) BBQ. A few small knives would be good. - It seems as though other staff members of the Fattoria don't deal with guests staying there - all they do is call up on person that is not always on site; but she does get there quickly. - Outside working hours, there is no one at the Fattoria. Be very careful no to lock yourself out of the apartment (without a mobile phone)! - It is a 10 minute walk to the pool

    - A/C is modern and powerful. - Rooms are spacious. - Fairly big refrigerator. - Village of Sant'Appiano is very small, so quiet and without any traffic or tourists. It is fairly well located if you have a car. - Pool is nice and it is light in the evening. - Staff is calm and welcoming.

The inside of the apartment is a bit dated, the sink was clogged (although someone came to fix it, but it clogged up right away again), Toilet was running unless we fixed it manually after evey flush All in all a great stay with a few little cons.

A wonderful place in Tuscany. Great pool and nice yard with olive trees. Good olive oil. Beautiful sunsets.

The BBQ is a charcoal grill, you may need to bring supplies. Some essentials (oil, salt) missing from the apartment kitchen

Beautiful location in a great Tuscan village. Did the cooking class as an extra activity. Absolutely worth it! Learned tons and drank wonderful wines.

The bathroom and the kitchen need some thourough cleaning and were a little bit outdated. Don't expect the service you get when you stay in a hotel, it's more a B&B. If you don't like quiet places don't go there.

It is a nice and very quiet place. We stayed in the Lavendel (no.7) appartement. The appartement was good, but basic. Some appartments have a beautiful view over the landscape, the lavendel unfortunatly did not have a view. But we were lucky that our neigbours left and we used their terrasse with a great view.

One must have their own vehicle to reach to this place. Had to call the hotel to request them to pick us up from the nearest station poggibonsi. They were very sweet to pick and drop us to the station

Loved the cellar and their house wines. Kitchenette was well equipped and fully loaded. There is a restaurant close by that serves great food. Must visit.

Staff didn't seem to care that we were there at all. Just a few little things that were not expected when you pay that much per night like having a sofa or couch, not having to go and ask for a second roll of toilet paper when the only one runs out, having a fridge that will cool a bottle of beer in less than 24hrs. We may as well have been camping

Location was a pretty good base for exploring nearby towns/cities but that's about all that I liked.

Superb location in the picturesque Tuscany region. The Staff was cooperative and helpful. Must have a hired car and a GPS to reach the property. All in all great value for money.

    - Shower needs to be toroughly cleaned/renewed! -Kitchen equipment to be more complete and some appliances did not work properly! -General hygiene could be better - What if weather is not ok..? no real sitting possibilities inside

Location: superb and calm surroundings although near to some cities

Set in the heart of the Chianti area, this farmhouse is ideal for being very central for anyone visiting different places in Tuscany. It is only a short distance out of a main road, and therefore very safe and easy to reach. It offers beautiful scenery, a large playing area for kids, bbq facilities and a very well kept pool and deck area. Moreover, there is a very good restaurant very close to the farmhouse.

We were a little disappointed. For a self catering facilities were sparse. No electric kettle, no toaster, no washing machine, and no couch. We had to sit around the kitchen dining room table. If your from Italy and are coming for a weekend it would be easy to bring things to help with your self catering. We were not. There was one toilet roll supplied for five of us for four nights, no cleaning products accept for dishwashing detergent and broom and if you did not clean there were ants everywhere! Internet worked occasionally and was very slow when it did. Staff were not all that friendly. Always had to go ask about everything. No information given about their wine tasting or what was good to see in the area. Absolutely no self promotion about their winery or the area here.

Pool was great. Restaurant on site was ok. Location was quiet and was good to relax.

We could not get the wifi to connect, even though the box is in the apartment. There wasn't any tea or coffee, but we had brought our own. I misinterpreted the website, and believed the restaurant to be at the hotel. It is in the city, but not a part of the hotel.

The place was lovely and tranquil. The pool was beautiful, if not a bit of a walk from the apartment we had. The wine tasting room is beautiful, and was opened up just for us.
