The property was beautiful and quite comfortable. We were looking for a quiet couple of days between tours. We loved sitting by the pool with the horses. The meals were delicious and the kittens were adore. The family was very welcoming and just attentive enough.

The only thing that wasn't nice, was arriving by train on a Sunday when there are no buses or taxis from the Camucia station. It would be best to have a car.

The location is superbe. A beautiful, old - but still working - farm, in the countryside. Still, it's only a 30 minutes' walk to Cortona (make sure you ask Paolo for directions). There are also other wonderful walks, e.g., to the Celle Hermitage, an amazing Franciscan monastery. The rooms are spectacular with wooden ceilings and stone floors. The garden is spacious and quiet. I loved the smell of all the surrounding greenery. Personally, I also very much enjoyed the meals. Breakfast is as great as all the reviews say. But the dinners are even more special. These meals together with the family and other guests were something that I very much cherished; the hosts made me feel so welcome, almost like being part of the family.

Not a thing.

Breakfast was like an American breakfast: everything, and lots of it. Wonderful coffee. Over the top. Hostess was cheerful, hellpful, accommodating and patient with my Italian, and very forgiving. The room was a suite with 20+ ft ceilings and most comfortable beds. In the pleasant countryside, but only minutes from town. Could not have been better.

The house is stunning, classic old but yet everything one needs and comfortable. The owners are so sweet and helpful. Amazing detail everywhere and great food of course like everyone says. We had a great stay at a lovely property and truly not only professional but such kind owners.

It was peaceful and calm. The People were friendly. The room extremely spacious and the garden marvellous.

Since the location is a very old mannor ( from 1484), the rooms are not soundproof and you can easily hear your neighbours in the other rooms. But this is overcompensated by the quiet of the night, the light of the fireflys and the singing of the birds.

The owners were very nice and friendly. The location is a very authentic - they were producing olive oil but also accomodating tourists. So a real agro-turismo :) The garden had a spectacular jasmine in bloom, many cats and a shy dog. The location also has a nice pool that one can enjoy in the hot summer days. They offer breakfast and dinner ( 10 eur - breakfast, 35 eur - dinner) and you can have their house wine or buy localy produced wine. We also had an olive oil tasting which lead to buying some of their very good oil, of course :)

It's a beautiful location run by wonderful people. They were all very helpful throughout, especially with the touristy bits and made us feel very welcome! I can't recommend them more highly and we will definitely be returning. Also, as other reviews have mentioned, the food is fantastic. We ended up eating there every evening and, again, I'd highly recommend the food.

The room wasn’t ready on time so we ended up getting lost trying to find it in the dark. Google maps couldn’t find it with the address provided. The bathroom was dirty and smelled bad, and the hot towel rack was peeling and rusty. There was no TV, fridge, or cups for drinking water. So, overall disappointing.

Beautiful old buildings with large rooms. Our room was cozy and rustic. They have wonderful kitties and horses!

An Authentic farmhouse stay in italy where myself and my family enjoyed so much from the first day until we left. The host doesn’t speak much English but they were all lovely, very helpful and very welcoming! We will definitely want to stay here again if we ever visit Arezzo or Cortona next time.

Having to leave!!

Loved every moment. The 1484 farmhouse is magic, the decor absolutely charming and interesting. loved being in a quiet, country area, not far from Cortona. The welcome from the owner made us feel at home from the first instance. The garden is a beautiful place to relax, with little table and chairs dotted throughout to unwind. Breakfast was perfect and dinner amazing, wonderful cook!! The dining room is so beautiful, felt very much at home. Definitely would recommend staying here, will do again.

All was great

The hotel manager’s (Rachele) warmth was a real plus during our stay. The room is beautiful in all its authentic country style charm. Everything was very clean and pleasant. We stayed only for a night to attend a wedding nearby but we couldn’t feel happier of our choice. Definitely recommend to stay here if you want to experience the true Tuscany country side, at a very reasonable price, hosted by welcoming and friendly people.
