Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

South AfricaWe have chosen to stay outside of town and have enjoyed our stay very much. This life-style is more 'basic' and it obviously will require you to plan a bit for trips and shopping, which was not a problem for us but is something to consider.
Farm atmosphere, beautiful country and quiet, homely, nice to walk on the farm, bus-stop right at the location (regular bus-stops and 15 minutes to city centre), value for money.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The location is perfect and peaceful. Very short drive to a supermarket and to Siena. If we go to Tuscany again, we are definitely staying here.

AustraliaOur bathroom had a shower head that was leaking. Kitchen didn't have a kettle and the walls were a bit thin so we could hear noise from guests staying in the space connecting.
The apartment has beautiful views of Tuscany and breakfast was simple but plentiful.

NetherlandsThe bathroom was a bit smelly which could sometimes be annoying in the room.
The property is situated in the outskirts of Siena. This means you have beautiful scenery and a feeling of being in nature. You can wake up early in the morning and have a chance of seeing various animals; squirrels, deer, birds... The room/bed was comfortable and spacious.

The location of Agroturismo is perfect for one-day trips around Tuscany. Within 1-2 hours you can get to Florence, Siena-Monteriggiano-San Gimignano- Volterra or Pienza-Montepulcciano. The place is very convenient, has a swimming pool and a really well kept garden. The closest little town is around 3 km from Agroturismo and it offers some small restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, etc. The Owner was very friendly and helpful. There was an option to buy the breakfast.

United KingdomWe were sad to learn that the wonderful rustic suppers we had enjoyed before, were no longer available as staff had changed. The bathrooms could benefit from a bit of updating and the bed was a tadge firm.
We stayed here in 2019, so knew the layout of the estate. This is a historic C15th farmhouse (divided into apartments) in stunning grounds, complete with a beautiful, landscaped pool area. Agritourism means it is part of a working farm, but it is exceptionally quiet and peaceful. We were hoping for the same apartment (No 1) as before but this was not conveyed to the host and was not ready for us. We were given another. (No 5) it was beautiful, rustic and yet pretty. The bedroom was large and airy, with a huge wardrobe. We grew to love it. For a couple of days we were the only guests there, it felt simply wonderful having it all to ourselves. The whole place is spotless and very well cared for and offers stunning views in every direction. It is so photogenic. Tony the owner is lovely as is his new assistant.

CanadaIt was unusually cold and rainy during our stay. Although the unpredictable weather was not our host's fault we were told that the city has a regulation against heating from April and we didn't want to go again the regulation so our stay was very cold and damp. We just wished our stay could have been warm and toasty. It is a very old building so we found it to be a bit dusty.
The scenery of the location is beautiful. The hosts were very sweet and welcoming. It was equipped with everything we needed it although we didn't have the breakfast, you can request for breakfast with small additional fee. There is spacious parking spot, pool also available for warmer days. We will definitely return with friends and family in the future for warmer days.

FranceCheck in & check out difficult as reception never seemed to be open. Check in 15h30 till 18h in theory but received a call asking us not to arrive till after 20h as no one available. We arrived slightly earlier 19h30 & after a long wait managed to find someone to check us in. Check out 8h30 till 9h, we arrived 8h45 reception locked up, managed to find a cleaning lady who rang around & someone finally came down to check us out. Not very satisfactory.
The location was good & property very typical Tuscan rustic.

IsraelMy only major complaint is that the curtains were not thick enough to block the sun, which is a problem with the long hours of daylight. There are some other minor problems, but nothing to take away from the good.
The location is absolutely amazing, quiet, beautiful, and a great slice of Tuscany. The property itself is also lovely, an old Tuscan farm house fixed up with modern amenities. Really great.

MontenegroHost was horrible, I was texting about the check in instructions, announced my arrival time and when I came no one was there and we were in the middle of nowhere. Morning after she yelled at us and tried to keep our passports so we can't leave the property, horrible experience. It said that breakfast was included, there was no breakfast, also pool wasn't functioning. The house is okay but for this money you can rent something where people will be there so you can check in and where they won't try to keep your personal document, few hours before your flight back...
When I booked I liked the nature around the house and that remained the only thing good there.

NetherlandsThe surroundings entering the property were like taken from a movie...breathtaking! Alexandra was very friendly and helpful with tips and local information. The apartment was spacious, a bit old-fashioned, but we loved every minute we spent there. There is plenty of space outside to explore. We stayed at the end of Oct so the weather was changing already. As the property is on the high hill, you can see the picturesque panorama of the region. Everything is close by: Pienza, Val'd'orcia, natural pools.

United KingdomWe were alone in the whole place which could have been nice but the pool was not usable, no food available which is a disappointment for an agriturismo place, the place was not very clean and the absolute bare minimum in the kitchen. There is an oven but no oven dish so basically you can't use it. We were put in an accommodation by the road as the main one wasn't available. None of this was mentioned on the booking site when we booked. I think the place could be amazing in season, when the staff is actually there to look after you, the pool is open and food is available.
The surroundings are amazing, typical Tuscan landscape. The bed was comfortable.
